Here is what will really happen to the bawstun QB situation next year: - Bwadie will not retire. - Bill will elect to keep Garapolio as an insurance policy because he will realize that having him as an insurance policy for a 40-year-old QB is more valuable to the team than trading him for draft picks. Meanwhile, if Bwadie does choose to retire after the 2017 season, Bill can compete on the open market for Jimmay's services or give the ball to Brisketburger or go in a different direction entirely (with retirement as an obvious big option). - Brisket develops for another year and if Bill likes what he sees, and Bwadie decides to play again in 2018, Brisketbasket becomes the heir apparent and 2nd string QB.
You're welcome. We can all move on to something else now.

Jason laconforta is reporting the Bears biggest priority this offseason is to trade for the Patriots backup quarterback Doubt it. Revealing their intentions this soon would compromise their negotiating position.
Just makes for a good story is all. Nothing to see here.

I tend to agree they don't trade him

my article and link must be made up No, not at all. I'm sure the article and link are real. But it just another story surrounding superbowl week that is pure hyperbole. Same as the Bwadie retirement rumors. It's bullshit but because there is a two week gap between the conference championships and the superbowl, writers are digging deep into their bullshit bag to find relevant stories.

Don't think the Pats should trade Jimmy, by the way. You need a legit plan B for Brady(and it's NOT Brissett). I will stay consistent on this.

I will stay consistent on this. coaching staff is very high on jacoby...high enough they used an IR designation for him. personally i liked what i saw in his very limited action. parcells has a man crush on him...

BOTTOM LINE With his size, arm and competitiveness, there are times when Brissett will remind you of Jameis Winston, but Winston understood the nuances of the position early in his college career while Brissett is still learning. Brissett's overall ability as a passer is NFL-caliber and he should continue to show rapid improvement on the next level with better weapons and protection. While an NFL staff will need to help him overcome his bad habits and learn to be more consistent with his pre-snap recognitions, Brissett has the tools to become an NFL starter.
the above described new england to a T

I'll bite. What there is specific to new england? - rookie still learning the position - NFL arm - has to limit bad habits

So did the write-up rock posted. I loved how his "improvement will grow with improved weapons and protection". What QB got WORSE with better players and protection?

If this guy was playing for another team, youd be rightfully saying "LOL" to anyone that suggested he is the future

Would it kill you to tell the whole story? Instead of just the parts that suit your narrative? He played the second game with a badly sprained thumb on his throwing hand that put him in IR after the game. Kid's got a huge arm and all that ever comes out of the Patriots coaches is how much they like him. Sorry if we defer to them instead of the boards biggest Patriots hater. He only threw for 108 yards in his first start because he had a grand total of one week of 1st team practice in his entire career and the Patriots led the entire game. He didn't need to throw it. He also rushed for 50 yards, including this beauty.

Great, All excuses you would never make or accept for a kid that threw for 108 yards and was than shut out by the Buffalo Bills, if he played for ________________________
Maybe he will be a solid QB one day, all Im saying is that in his first 2 chances, he looked as bad as a QB can look, outside of a few nice runs
