Todays daily nfl nonsense.
"I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses Black people and people of color," Kaepernick told NFL Media in an exclusive interview after the game against Green Bay. "To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder."

I wonder if Colin is going to donate a substantial portion of his NFL salary to some charity that "raises awareness" of how unfairly black people are treated. I'm guessing he's not.

Donating money is the lazy persons way to "help". Especially when you can use donations as tax write-offs.

Sf held a team meeting to discuss Kaepernick's decision and how to prevent it from being a distraction.
Spoiler.
If you're having a team meeting about it, it's already a distraction.
But seriously. Backup qb doesn't stand during the anthem. Call me crazy, but by kickoff, I'm pretty sure they are over it.

Kaepernick is disrespectimg every person that fought for that flag and that stood up for that anthem.
He is a selfish cunt that doesnt deserve to live under the blanket of freedom that the flag represents.

Electing to disrespect the flag and the country because of a personal agenda is bullshit. You can stand up for the anthem and all the great things that it represents and still speak up for what you believe in.

Kaepernick always has been kinda weird. He must have already lost all of his endorsement deals because there is no way he would have gone all anti-America when he still had endorsement money rolling in.

He doesn't have to love America. I will still sleep well at night. Muhammed Ali did something very similar 50 years ago and he died a global hero. The primary difference is that Ali was an intelligent and caring human being. Kaepernick is an idiot and an asshole.

Are these same warriors of America running through schools and kicking out kids who don't stand for the pledge of allegiance? Morons.

Ali doesn't go to war when called upon by his country, he's a hero. Kap doesn't stand for the flag, bc in his opinion our country isnt acting in a way that the flag stands for, and he needs to leave the country. The last sentence, I do agree with. If a more intelligent/less chodey guy was doing this, it may be received differently.

Someone should remind Kaepernick that 600,000 white soldiers died between 1861-1865 so that black people could be free in America.

It is more so with local police departments and people in general. Not with "America" So for that, he is a moron - and so is pretty much anyone fighting 21st century "racism" in a similar manner.

He was drafted to the war. His country said "k Holmes, you're going to war". He said "I don't support this war, fighting in/for another country while I'm not treated as an equal in my own country, fuck off.". He's considered a hero. Kap says he refuses to stand for the flag while people are treated unfairly (I'll acknowledge "oppressed" is a poor choice of words). He needs to leave the country. When kaepernick starts building hospitals in africa he can talk. Or gets drafted to an unpopular war where we have no business. Ali was a pioneer that way. Kaepernicks a dick...tho its his right.

Why does building hospitals in Africa have shit all to do with people being treated unfairly in America? Based off what he said, if equal rights was a thing in America when ali was drafted, he'd have gone to Vietnam. I don't agree with his stance, nor do i agree with "I'm not going bc we have no business being there", but i do understand the thought process behind it. That all said, so call Ali a great man and a hero, and say Kap "Needs to leave the country" is a joke
