When kaepernick starts building hospitals in africa he can talk. Or gets drafted to an unpopular war where we have no business. Ali was a pioneer that way. Kaepernicks a dick...tho its his right. Why does building hospitals in Africa have shit all to do with people being treated unfairly in America? Based off what he said, if equal rights was a thing in America when ali was drafted, he'd have gone to Vietnam. I don't agree with his stance, nor do i agree with "I'm not going bc we have no business being there", but i do understand the thought process behind it. That all said, so call Ali a great man and a hero, and say Kap "Needs to leave the country" is a joke Ali was a humanitarian. He worked with inner city kids, the poor, etc. Kaepernick should have stuck with pitching.

In regards to the war, he did something similar to what Kap did imo. What Kap did, didn't hurt or affect anyone but himself. We constantly see things done in the name of blm that flat out hurt or put others in danger. Disagree with blm if you want, but what Kap is doing is peacefully making a stand on something he believes in, aka doing it the right way.

"Kaepernick can say whatever he wants, as long as I agree with it" The issue is with disrespecting the anthem, not with why he says he is doing it.

Kaepernick sure has a lot of people pissed off this morning. Exactly what he wanted. Kaep is winning. Winning at keeping his name in the press, yes. But, he lost the fanbase. Prior to the last game, the locals chimed in to the point that 70% wanted him to be the starter.
Same poll, post incident, down to 9%.
So Kaep. You did what you wanted, and said what you wanted.
How does it feel to be unwanted because of it?

He refused to fight in a war the US really had no business being in. He lost 5 years of his boxing career in his prime for his beliefs. "Oh so this n*****r can't use your bathroom, eat in your restaurants, shop in your stores, but you want me to fight in a war we shouldn't be fighting, fuck you". Trump was a draft dodger.

You are a civilian now, just like me. The idea of going into the military was to get the benefits and homage to the country, not to have them brainwash you. You are wasting too much emotion on Kaepernick. There is always going to be people like him.

He doesn't care about that fan base. As I said before, if he still had endorsement deals, he never would have said that bullshit. He has apparently lost his endorsement deals and that is probably part to the reason why he is pissed off.
And somewhere in his twisted pea brain, he probably thinks the real reason why he isn't the starting QB of the 49ers is because he is black....even though he is a mulatto, not a black.

I understand Ali's rationale. His actions also led to someone else being sent to Vietnam to die. His not going affected someone else indirectly. Kap didn't stand for an anthem. His actions didn't adversely affect anyone. It gave him a soapbox to speak out on an issue. To say Ali can stay in America and is a hero but Kap has to leave the country is absurd. If you dont get it you never will. Ali and Kaepernicks sitiations are as close as apples and moon rocks.

Criticize Kap, I get. Telling him he needs to leave is over the top.

Ali refused to go to the war bc of his beliefs. While things aren't as bad as "you can't use the same bathroom", there is stil more change that needs to happen. Kaps "stance" isn't as controversial as Ali's, but is along the same lines. This is happening bc frankly Ali was smart, and Kap is a dope. If a smarter more respected nfler did this, it would be received better imo. Let me know whe "Kaep" loses 5 years of his NFL career for his beliefs.

Yea Also "didn't Risk his life". Please. Again, what Kap isn't doing isn't on the same level as Ali, but also isn't worthy of saying "get out of the country".

You have Hillary who has called black teens or black kids super predators, you have Donald Trump who’s openly racist. We have a presidential candidate who has deleted emails and done things illegally and is a presidential candidate. That doesn’t make sense to me because if that was any other person you’d be in prison. So, what is this country really standing for?” Kaepernick said, according to Niners Wire.

Kaepernick has to be the oddest spokesperson for this. His black father, who apparently wasn't a "black lives matter" activist abandoned his black life before he was born. He was adopted by a white family who took him in as their own. Now he is rich beyond belief.
Now its time to take a stand!

Philadelphia Eagles rookie linebacker Myke Tavarres plans to join Colin Kaepernick's protest and refuse to stand during the national anthem at upcoming games, he told ESPN.
“We've got an issue in this country in this day and age, and I feel like somebody needs to step up and we all need to step up,” Tavarres said. “We've got that right. There's just a lot going on that people don't want to talk about, and I feel like us as athletes, we're looked at as role models. And I feel like with Colin Kaepernick, he's doing a great job for standing up in what he believes in, and most people may not like that, but that's his opinion, he's entitled to it, and I respect him for doing it.”
“I'm a rookie free agent, haven't signed any major contract, so there's not a lot of money on the line, I don't have any big endorsement deals on the line,” he added. “Really what's at stake is my pride and what kind of man would I be and what kind of African-American would I be if I didn't stand my ground on this issue we have today?”

I'm sorry. He hasn't even mAde the roster yet. They're about to trim down to 53 players and he's got a sliver of a chance to make the roster as a special teams guy due to the Eagles shit depth at linebacker. He doesn't think he has anything to lose? How about a six digit NFL minimum salary. He sure as fuck ain't making that outside the NFL. and if he's already counting himself out of making the team, what the fuck is he bothering to lace up for? Ignorant unpatriotic motherfuckers act like cops never kill white people. I hope he gets a counter-clockwise cork screwing from a giant mallard and then gets eaten by a T-Rex. You have a problem with Kaepernick not standing for the hymn? Why?

He's just expressing his First Amendment rights, the same rights I defended when I was in the military. My post is more directed at some of (Un)'s previous posts.

You didn't know it, but I refused to stand during the making of the above post. ^^^ hearts Kap. I only feel it would be worse here if you guys happened to live near me and this situation. I think there is more Pro-Kaep feeling on this board than there is in the entire Bay Area. According to sports talk radio anyway...
