If Revis signs with NE and you all defend it, you better admit you were looking at him through your hater eyes last year.
Revis will be a fine corner for anyone who signs him. Once his wrist healed, he played some damn good CB considering the lack of everything around him.

I think if given the opportunity came his way hed take an incentive laden deal to get to that 8 mil he says he wants. Weight Snaps Picks Etc Hed win another sb or at least get to one in all likelihood.

He was perfectly fine last year once he healed up. He will not be any different for NE than he was for the NYJ the 2nd half of the season.
He won his ring, another ring won't mean shit to him. If anything you guys said last year was true, you should want no part of him this upcoming season.

Ian Rapoport reports that the Patriots are signing DL Lawrence Guy to a four-year contract worth up to $20 million.
Guy, 26, is a former seventh-round pick of the Packers back in 2011. He lasted just over a year in Green Bay before he was waived at the start of the 2012 season. Guy was signed off of the Packers’ practice squad by the Colts and he spent a year with Indianapolis before he was claimed off of waivers during the 2013 season by the Chargers.
The Ravens eventually claimed him from San Diego and signed him to a two-year contract in 2015.
In 2016, Guy appeared in all 16 games for the Ravens and recorded 29 tackles, one sack, two forced fumbles and a recovery. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 38 interior defender out of 127 qualifying players.

He got fat and disinterested in NY.. If he gets in shape and comes to New England motivated and ready to go? That will be a different guy than suited up for the Jets last season

The Jets cut him because he got lit up all season long.
If he comes to New England and plays well, its not just a strange coincidence.

Yeah, the Jets cut him two years into a 5 year deal and are eating a ton of money because "he was just fine" last year. Gimme a break.... So why did they cut Brandon Marshall? Because he was fat and lazy and sucks? They are tanking.

So Malcolm Butler's agent is publicly schlepping for teams to give him a contract. And he wants $14 mil a year? He wants UFA money, even though he's not a UFA...
Sign your franchise tender. Make your $4 mil and cash in next year, once you've earned the right to ask for UFA money, Malcolm.. You're getting bad advice from your agent.

His first real contract negotiation and the guy is trying to play hardball with the Patriots and get a guy UFA money when he's an RFA? Talk about being in over your head, LOL...

Dont’a Hightower expected to make his decision todayPosted by Darin Gantt on March 15, 2017, 6:16 AM EDT Dont’a Hightower should set up a table in a high school gym with three hats, and call an assembly where he’ll dramatically pick one. Actually, when he does it this time, he’ll be getting paid for real. According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the free agent linebacker is expected to make his decision today after a quick tour. He visited the Jets and the Steelers, but many still expect him to return home to the Patriots. The Jets seem the most desperate to land him, and perhaps they’ll overpay. The Steelers are looking for help inside after losing Lawrence Timmons to Miami, and rarely make such a splurge in free agency anyway. The Patriots offer familiarity, and they didn’t trade him away before it was time for his payday so they clearly like him. We’ll let you know which hat he picks. profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/03/15/donta-hightower-expected-to-make-his-decision-today/

I like this! Patriots sign Rex BurkheadPosted by Josh Alper on March 14, 2017, 4:51 PM EDT The Patriots have added another piece to their offensive mix. The team announced that they have signed former Bengals running back Rex Burkhead as a free agent. Burkhead arrived for a visit with the team on Monday and also visited with the Falcons earlier in free agency. Burkhead spent most of his time with the Bengals playing on special teams, although he showed versatility on offense when given the opportunity by lining up in the backfield and split out as a receiver at different times. His heaviest usage on offense came during the season finale in January when he ran 27 times for for 119 yards and two touchdowns while also catching a pair of passes for 25 yards. Burkhead isn’t likely to see that kind of workload with the Patriots, but he wouldn’t be the first player overlooked by another team to find his niche in the New England offense. If nothing else, he should earn a long look as a special teamer on a team that’s long found homes for players who excel in that phase of the game profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/03/14/patriots-sign-rex-burkhead/

An upgrade over Bolden on specials and possible replacement for Blount from what I've read. I dont know much about him but Bengals fans are quite pissed about losing him

hearing the Jets offered Hightower 12 mil + per year but they are now out of the running because he didnt accept it while he was there. Pretty much the same with the Steelers, they wanted him him to accept right away, he didnt.
it'll be a major upset if he isnt a Patriot now

Brady enters his 18th season with the Patriots in 2017, and if he were to reach his goal of six or seven more years with New England, he would smash former Detroit Lions kicker Jason Hanson's NFL record of the most seasons with one team (21).
Only Hanson, Washington Redskins cornerback Darrell Green (20) and Los Angeles Rams offensive tackle Jackie Slater (20) have spent at least 20 seasons with one team.

So what's the story with Malcolm Butler? I'm confused. Will he end up on the Pats next year, or not?
