As soon as the Blues beat the Hawks, my first thought was "Blues in 6". Watching my heroes all season, there were two teams that I had a clear impression the Stars matched up badly against. The Kings... and the Blues. Those two teams were consistently able to slow down the game that the Stars like to play. Bigger bodies on defense... skilled offense... goal tending that made big stops when they needed to... I just think this is a bad matchup for Dallas. Now, I do believe we are better with Johns and Faksa both in the lineup which gives us a little more size than the last time the Stars played the Blues but they have no answer for Tarasenko who absolutely torches us. Played them close with a couple of OT losses but that's where we needed a goalie to step up and they didn't.
The good news is this will be a good learning experience for my heroes... and they get younger next year with kids who match the size of LA and STL. We're getting closer.
Still saying Blues in 6.

Just your typical Blues/Stars tilt... Seems like every game between them is like this. Of course if it were a regular season tilt Benn and Backes would have went.
