Soooo, the Mariner season ended in the 5th inning of the 157th game. That's about 120 games later that it has ended in each of the previous 10 seasons. Time for the hot stove season. WooHoo!

Sale vs Verlander.......
after 6 1-1
Sale had 10 Ks....Det scored their run on a HBP, bloop double, sac fly.....
whitesox pull him......tell him good season....no reason for you to pitch the 7th...i think he had right around 100 pitches....
reliever comes in the 7th, gives up 3.
KC had to be hoping they would win the Sale game.
