I'm willing to give a woman a chance to replace Buchholz in the rotation. Pineda is on the DL and still a yankee I think Pineda and Wil Myers are on the same rehab program.

Actually its a good idea to send him down and try and get some hitting momentum going. He has been a train wreck offensively. Unlike Jose Ingelass. He does have some offensive potential. Red Sox should not be content with his current hitting. Season is lost, see what mookie has and see if JBjr can get some offensive mojo back for next year. If the Red Sox were still trying to win. Keeping JBjr over mookie is a no brainier. But we are at the show me what you got portion of the season for them.

If they're going to keep Bogaerts up, they should keep Bradley up as well. Like you said, it's a lost season. Time for OJT.

Its not a matter of trust, its getting the guy to re-group himself mentally by giving him something easier and hopefully re-build himself.

He'll be back in September obviously, but he needs as much experience against MLB quality pitching as he can get...if he's in their plans for next year

I don't see why they can't go Betts-JBjr-Cespedes OF. Nava is who he is, and Holt can play anywhere as the super utility guy giving a regular a day offf

I get that. I just think at this point a one month AAA stint won't do much good in that regard.Let him take his lumps, see if he can work his way out of it, start over again next spring.

Betts is probably the trade bait here. He's a 2nd basemen by trait. He is more valuable to other teams that need a 2B. Than as an OF. He's probably going away in a package for some SP in the off-season.

Well said! Bradley actually has hit a bit over the years, but he's completely lost at the moment. He could use a shot of confidence.

Tony La Rusa is out on the field, wearing a hat, with a jersey on that has his last name. What should we think?

All kidding aside, TLR in the dugout is the best thing that could happen to the D-Backs. He wins everywhere. But yeah, I doubt it means anything either. If he really still wanted to manage, I doubt he'd have ever left St. Louis

At this point I don't see why the Red Sox would demote Betts... I mean the season is a lost cause.. Let him get his feet wet the next 49 games or so... It hurts him constantly bringing him up only to bring him right back down again
