If that was true, then why do the Yankees have to overpay for every free agent they acquire, ever? I'll bite. List all the FA players that they have signed that they had to "over pay" i'll wait Jeter |

Batting average going in the wrong direction, but draws his walks.. Getting older isn't going to help him get less fragile though.. |

I'm going to need to write this down: When discussing offensive production between Jeter and Bogaerts - we can only use batting average When discussing Jeter's offense with regard to the other AL SS as a group - we can only use on base percentage When discussing Teixeira's value - we can only use SLG and DWAR.
