As long as Joc Pederson is not involved, i'd be happy to see Price in L.A. Hear Dodgers are out on Price No Pederson, no trade.

Still dont know what I think about this Lester trade, wasnt what I was expecting it should have never come to this, I hate that Lester is gone, but they got a pretty damned good player back at least...I was never a Lackey fan so I like that deal better even tho both guys we got are ? we all knew they've needed a bat or 2 for months, if they tried something earlier this might not have been a lost season, we might still have Lester "Steven Drew will help us!" good thing they're rich because I really question their baseball smarts sometimes

Hopefully Lester considers resigning in the offseason.

Getting early word that the Indians have traded Ass-drupin' Cabrera. It's so early, there is no other who or where involved. This move is likely to have fantasy implications, as I have heard of both a position shift for him, and, a possibly reduced role for him if traded.

A relatively minor move -
The Orioles have agreed to acquire Red Sox lefty Andrew Miller, per Jerry Crasnick of ESPN.com (via Twitter). A minor league pitcher is coming in return, per Sean McAdam of CSNNE.com (via Twitter).
Baltimore will send left-handed pitching prospect Eduardo Rodriguez in return, per a tweet from Roch Kubatko of MASNsports.com.

And, it seems that this is one team that required a position change of him. I hope at least, as I can see him taking over 2B from Danny Espinoza much better and easier than him taking SS from Ian Desmond.

I now see that the Indians are receiving infielder Zach Walters in the deal. ESPN’s Buster Olney tweets that Cleveland is sending cash to the Nats as well.

After all of the teams and names that were swirling around a Price trade, call me underwhelmed with the end result.
The Tigers have agreed to acquire David Price from the Rays, tweets Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports. The deal is a three-way trade between the Tigers, Rays, and Mariners.
Austin Jackson will go to the Mariners, per a tweet from Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com, with Nick Franklin and Drew Smyly heading to Tampa, according to Bob Dutton of the Tacoma News Tribune (via Twitter).

The Yankees acquired infielder Martin Prado from the Diamondbacks, tweets Jack Curry of the YES Network.
Prado, 30, is hitting .270/.317/.370 in 436 plate appearances for Arizona this year while playing mostly third base. He was a major piece of the January 2013 trade that brought Justin Upton to the Braves. Shortly after the acquisition, Prado signed a four-year, $40MM extension with the D’Backs. He has about $3.6MM remaining this year, and $11MM in each of the 2015 and ’16 seasons.

I feel better after learning the NYY are paying most of Drew's salary. Still, it is kind of odd in a way. SS has been a sore spot for Boston all year. Ane, while Drew was very much not the answer, at least he is a known, viable commodity. Now, they just have one less guy in the mix. Unless, They may be planning to move Bogaerts back to SS now. If so, they could use Middlebrooks, Holt, or the newly acquired Johnson at 3B, or, a platoon/combo of the 3. As with a lot of the deal going down today, the playing time and position details will take a day or two to sort and shake out. With that said, I have already made my first fantasy move due to the trades. With Emilio Bonifacio going to Atlanta, I felt it best and safe to dump Tommy La Stella from a team, as I question what his playing time will then be going forward, even though knowing that Bonifacio can play all over the diamond. Atlanta's main sore spot is 2B, so, I will assume that was the need they were really addressing with this move. Again, much more to come.....

Just how bad is the Yankee / Red sox rivalry and hate? I see now that it has been 17 years since they traded with each other.

An otherwise minor move that helps compliment and complete the larger move from the A's today. 10:01am: Sam Fuld is heading back to the A’s in the trade, according to Jerry Crasnick of ESPN (on Twitter). Interestingly, the Twins claimed Fuld off waivers from Oakland earlier this year when he was designated for assignment. Presumably, he can form some form of platoon with the newly acquired Jonny Gomes in order to fill in for the now-departed Yoenis Cespedes. 9:53am: The Twins have acquired lefty Tommy Milone from the A’s, according to Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports (Twitter link). From a fantasy perspective, Milone once again become fantasy relevant, and now a decent pickup going forward. On the other end, Sam Fuld was putting up decent enough numbers to have him be fantasy relevant, as a 4th or 5th OF guy. Now that he is headed for a platoon it seems, any value he may have had is now gone. I just got some new info on this trade. And, it is funny, in a karmic sort of way. I just saw that Tommy Milone is not being kept and used by the Twins in their rotation after all. As well as he was doing when up in Oakland, and as bad as the Twins starters have been, I thought him starting was a done deal. It turns nout not to be so. And, there is some wonder as to how much his being vocal about wanting out of Oakland played into this, if at all. At the very least, it is a good example of "be careful what you wish for, as you just might get it (sort of)".

Details,....., they are kind of important...... Milone has already been sent to AAA. They called up one of their own homegrown kids instead.
