I still don't understand why people were surprised Vegas was so good. Yeah no super stars except MAF but a lot of stars/very good hockey players. I bet the league changes the format of the next expansion (Seattle???). |

As surprising as this may sound, I don't mind that the Caps are in the Cup finals. I mean Sid has been to the finals 4 times and won 3, but this is Ovies first time beyond the second round. In some ways I'd be happier to see him win the Cup than MAF. In my mind there is something wrong about an expansion team winning the championship in their first year. However . . .

Don't know about the rest of you but I thought that was one awesome game last night. I don't know how they kept up that pace all game long.

I'm sure the GM's will work it better han they did for this one. As for how well they did I figured they'd be good, playoff contender good not Cup contender good. But who could have predicted the face plants the teams in Alberta had. They will be fighting for their playoff lives next season and remember they are not loaded with prospects. As would be expected. Oodles of Cap Space tho' |
