All in all - I'm pretty satisfied with the Cowboys draft so far. Expectations were DE, CB, CB and they hit all marks. Marinelli has pieces to work with. Round 1, Pick 28 (28) Taco Charlton DE 6'6" 277 Michigan 6.3 Pick Analysis: "This kid has length, power and athletic ability. Reminds me physically of Carlos Dunlap. One-year starter, which makes me question where he was before that." -- Mike Mayock Round 2, Pick 28 (60) Chidobe Awuzie CB 6'0" 202 Colorado 5.8 Pick Analysis: "Awuzie was the highest corner remaining on my board. He played outside, but kicked inside. You can see him as a nickel blitzer. He can also play safety because of his toughness." -- Mike Mayock

Love the Lions first 2 picks, their 3rd pick seemed a little high. Don't know shit about the guy, but he's big and fast. Hopefully he works out.

Love the Lions first 2 picks, their 3rd pick seemed a little high. Don't know shit about the guy, but he's big and fast. Hopefully he works out. Round 1, Pick 21 (21) Jarrad Davis LB 6'1" 238 Florida 5.9 Pick Analysis: "Davis missed a lot of time with an ankle. He's got the physical traits. He's a tough kid. He's today's NFL inside linebacker. He can run. He can stay in the game on third down, which I think is critical in Detroit." -- Mike Mayock Round 2, Pick 21 (53) Teez Tabor CB 6'0" 199 Florida 5.7 Pick Analysis: "Teez Tabor's a good football player. ... He ran poorly, but that doesn't matter at this point. Think about what Detroit is doing: Darius Slay on one side, D.J. Hayden was signed. Tabor's going to come in and compete." -- Mike Mayock Round 3, Pick 32 (96) (From Patriots) Kenny Golladay WR 6'4" 218 Northern Illinois 5.5 Bottom Line He will be a height, weight, speed prospect headed into the combine, but will need to prove he can run to solidify his draft standing. Golladay could be targeted by teams looking for a field-stretcher with size who has the potential to become a matchup problem in the redzone. Golladay has the talent to become an eventual starter in the league. -Lance Zierlein Round 4, Pick 18 (124) (From Patriots through Titans) Jalen Reeves-Maybin LB 6'0" 230 Tennessee 5.3 Pick Analysis: Linebacker was arguably the Lion's biggest need entering the draft. They added Jarrad Davis in the first and now add another speedy playmaker in Reeves-Maybin. His tape, when healthy, is much better than this draft slot. --Mark Dulgerian Round 4, Pick 21 (127) Michael Roberts TE 6'4" 270 Toledo 5.4 Pick Analysis: Lions OC Jim Bob Cooter can get back to featuring his favored 2-TE sets with Roberts now on the roster. Roberts is a red zone monster (scored a TD every 3.1 receptions in career) who could emerge as a Stafford favorite in that area. --Mark Dulgerian Rpund 5, Pick 21 (166) Jamal Agnew, CB 5'10" 185 San Diego 5.1 Bottom Line Four-year starter who is extremely confident and competitive out on the field and has the make-up speed to cover up for early mistakes. Agnew's lack of size and length makes him a slot-only corner and could force him into undrafted status, but his ball skills, speed and punt return potential give him a shot to make it down the road. -Lance Zierlein

I think they Lions should take Caleb Brantley in the 6th round if he's there. They have a few picks and he was college teammates with Davis and Tabor, maybe having those 2 with him could be sort of a good environment for him to get his shit together. He was a top 50 player in this draft

He was a top 50 player in this draft This is how it began with the Bengals pr0t0. Justify it causer he can play and it's great value at a time when you usually get special teamers and practice squad players. Next you'll be taking them earlier. All of a sudden you'll be scouting Correctional Institutions looking for the next James Scott. It is a slippery slope

It is a slippery slope I wouldn't want to touch him if they didn't take 2 of his defensive teammates who are, for all intents and purposes, eagle scouts in the first 2 rounds. But he's the Browns problem now!

I am incredibly pleased with this draft. Loaded up on defensive backs with pedigrees. I get the sense there will be a massive turnover there - even more than first thought after all the losses in FA.
Coach Marinelli must be licking his chops. He's about to get to work.
