John Fox had no idea about what the front office was up to until an hour before the draft.
Good... Lord...

You'd think after watching the Patriots or Seahawks model to building that teams would have everyone on the same page. Guess not GM and coach vacancies for Chicago over/under 16 regular season games

Trying to talk yourself into liking the pick (Un)? I'm resigned to it. And honestly it could be worse. If Teddy Bridgewater hadn't gotten injured last year the Eagles wouldn't even have a 1st round pick. Sidney Jones top 2 CB till his injury at Pro day. Love the pick if his injury isn't too severe

Looks like the Cowboys will have their pick of CB's... all were brought in prior to this week.

Ethan Pocic to the Seahawks would have preferred Lamp and Tomlinson, presuming the Giants would have taken McDowell
Oh well it is what it is

All in all - I'm pretty satisfied with the Cowboys draft so far. Expectations were DE, CB, CB and they hit all marks. Marinelli has pieces to work with.

Sidney Jones top 2 CB till his injury at Pro day. Love the pick if his injury isn't too severe Eagles are allegedly building for the long term rather than a win now. So I don't hate the pick. Assuming he can eventually play. But to me it's still another textbook Howie pick. Eagles have drafted injured CBs in the past that never actually saw the field. Mayock's take 43. Sidney Jones, CB, Philadelphia Eagles Analysis: "Popular choice in Philadelphia. Before he got hurt, Philly wanted Sidney Jones at No. 14. ... He reminds me of Marcus Peters, another Washington Husky. What I love about him is he's got instincts, he's got ball skills and he will tackle even though he's lean at 186."

(14) (From Vikings) Derek Barnett DE 6'3" 259 Tennessee 6.1 Pick Analysis: "I love the energy. I love the toughness. People either loved or they didn't like him because he didn't have explosive measurables in the combine. But his tape is too good and I think the city of Philadelphia is going to love him." -- Mike Mayock
Round 3, Pick 35 (99) (Compensatory Selection - From Ravens) Rasul Douglas CB 6'2" 209 West Virginia 5.8 Pick Analysis: "Defense, defense, defense. Douglas is a long corner. Exactly what Jim Schwartz likes." -- Mike Mayock
