matt barnes became the first sox pitcher since 1995 to go 3 or more scoreless innings in his debut. he showed good command, a lively fastball, and good mound presence.

Doesn't shock me that once again he was playing hurt. He wasn't the same this year at all. This is hopefully not a sign of things to come since he signed that huge deal but it probably is. |

It's fugly. 98.5 had a nice bit on craig this morning fred toucher of TnR is a cards fan since birth...insists that craig will be fine next year, but does point to his gaudy BA with RISP over his time inSTL. hes cheap, hes under contract, and can play multiple positions. hes still hurt. |
