I miss the good old days when you'd give us the Red Sox roster and tell us how many of those guys came through the System, and compare it to the Yankee roster Shoe Meet Other foot Entire starting outfield = system 2nd base = system SS = system 1st = 1/2 system (he started there) We have the best system, don't we folks? Tremendous system. Trust me. Big League. So what you're saying Dombo guts system for quick fixes Cash protects #1 or 2 system in baseball Both approaches result in zero playoff wins? Amirite?

The Yankees were the gold standard for trading prospects for "win now" players " Combined with spending big Same exact approach The Yankees have no equivalent to Betts, Bogaerts, Lester, Pedroia etc.. All guys who were added to the farm system long after they climbed to the top of the league in 2003. Jeter, Posada, Pettitte, Bernie were all part of the Yankees long before they got good. Simply not true to say they're the same.

You say that like Cashman has been guarding this #1 system for years. Cashman has been in possession of a #1 or #2 system for about 6 months. We'll see what he does with it. As far as playoff wins, I'll take last one in 2013 to win the World Series over last one in 2012 over the orioles in the ALDS.

Adding a #2 & #3 to Kluber Tomlin & Bauer......plus EE...plus maybe Brantley back until he gets hurt......
I think they have the best rotation, slight nod over Cubs & Redsox......no one else is close.

I guess you can throw in the Nats to the top 4 if you want to count on Strasburg.....

they paid 60 mil for the Moncada?.......hmmm.....the whitesox will only be paying him 500K-600K for the next 3 years........
Thanks Redsox!
Maybe more, I think $32 million was the winning blind bid, than a huge contract on top of that 31 Million bid, not blind. Because luxury tax, another 31 Mil. No huge contract, which is why Lemi is happy.

The Yankees and Toronto really should CC is literally the Yankees #2 But def the most excited I've been about a season as a fan where I don't expect a postseason Not so much as a businessman
