I know that you're psyched, but I'm not seeing that. Noel is a rotation piece. Is he an upgrade over what we have for bigs, absolutely. Not enough. I don't see what more the Celtics could get beyond Butler and Noel......if it takes more than that to make this team a contender......don't do anything, keep the picks and hope one of them turns into LBJ. I think Butler and Noel makes them as good, if not better than any team. Yes, my "win the title" comment was out of excitement. Hawks in 7 |

They're still one more legit all-star away from knocking off Cleveland or dreaming about the western conference. But yeah, add Butler and avoid giving up the wrong piece with that #1, and they leapfrog To***to and become an actual nuisance to Cleveland. Still need more. If you get Butler.......you have to overpay a bit for Noel. Butler and Noel, Celtics win the title. Lol |

I do think Noel is all he is cracked up to be on the defensive end......I think Franky could do better offensively. But that's what the Celtics would need. I do not want Noel as himself. I want Noel in a "go for it" move.....Butler, PG, Hayward, Melo. (in that order). |

Melo's value being this low. How do you not want him, Jets? Go back and read the conversation, i said there was no way I wanted him for Brown. If you can get him for next to nothing, as in a late 1st round pick, when you have picks in front of it........I would not be opposed. You would have to back that up with a Noel type deal. Melo is trash now.......and like I said that day, if your stance is "he will change and try here and be a different player"......i can buy it, so long as the celtics give up nothing. This Melo, the one the knicks have got this year.......I want zero part of. He would kill this team. |
