Embiid came out like triple h for the game tonight apparently.
That's pretty funny. This guy is gonna get me to watch the sixers again.

He's that "get under your skin" type player without being dirty. Tough thing to do. It's more, like you said.......it's the NBA, nobody wants to be covered 94 feet....no body wants someone diving in front of them for a loose ball.

It's Harden who might get chippy. He was already last time. Funny thing is that some of these guys, it doesn't bother them. They're used to it. They don't like it, but they understand. Others, like Harden recently, figure you're going to back off after a few bullshit touch fouls. But keep on them, and they start to check out or get chippy. May as well use that...

I know that we're only halfway through the season. But the nets are building up a bit of a cushion for that worst record in basketball. Yep. If the balls fail us again, the conspiracy theories will be unbearable. But I think he trades #1+ for a legit #1 player. And then it's game on. Totally agree... Shock if he didn't trade the #1

I view him as slightly better than Paul George. I know the rumors of Butler moving but I just don't see it. PG moving makes more sense to me........the Pacers have their young nucleus and might want a few picks to secure that and don't see George panning out long term. (Edit: Meaning panning out in the teams long term plans.) The bulls.....i mean nothing they have done has made sense so maybe they trade him.....but you won't sell a ticket in that place if he goes.

Can you build a contender around him, or is he a 1A on a championship team.

No. Can he be the best player on an all around good team that wins the title? Yes.

And I'd love to see that series with the Cavs. I think I'd bet Celtics. IT, Bradley, Smart, Butler, Crowder...........Stevens would do some serious damage rotating those in the 1-3 spots.

They're still one more legit all-star away from knocking off Cleveland or dreaming about the western conference. But yeah, add Butler and avoid giving up the wrong piece with that #1, and they leapfrog Toronto and become an actual nuisance to Cleveland. Still need more.

THe ball brothers just have done so much youtube shit that I'm familiar with the name. NBA players for sure. I'd say that there's easily 5 franchise players in this draft. We might not know which ones until their second or third years. Fucking 19yos, it's so hard to tell. Love Ball, Monk, and Fultz the most. Seen Ball slotted from 1-3 in mocks, Monk between 3 and 7. Fultz always at 1-2. Almost all of the top players are guards. Figures, since that's the one place that we don't really need help.

I don't see what more the Celtics could get beyond Butler and Noel......if it takes more than that to make this team a contender......don't do anything, keep the picks and hope one of them turns into LBJ. I think Butler and Noel makes them as good, if not better than any team. Yes, my "win the title" comment was out of excitement.
