Them and the Doggies look good. Also: Angels and Padres are dog shit. Agreed on the pAAAdres. God they are built horrifically. That GM needs to be shitcanned ASAP. Don't know enough about the Angels to comment.

Angels haven't done enough to build around trout.....but they still have trout. Richard & Heaney should be decent at the top of their rotation.
75-80 win team. I think.

They have zero depth to the lineup, they are paper thin. You got trout, Pujols, Calhoun, Escobar. Then nadda. Well simmons counts for defense, but he's nadda as a hitter. Richards is the only proven solid SP. Heaney, Shoemaker..etc etc. are mediocre and probably can't go 200 IP, then the depth beyond those guys is even worse. They have an historically bad farm. So they have NOTHING in the high minors that can help them enough. They are basically wasting Trout's prime years. IMO.

all true.....(Except Heaney is going to be pretty good)..still 75-80 win team, ie don't deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as the Pads.

While someone else called the A's / White sox the pitching matchup of the day, I myself would vote for The Tigers / Marlins, with Anibal Sanchez vs. Jose Fernandez.

Anyone watching the game?
I wonder if Gibbons was giving Dolandson shit there for having quite the slow jog out of the box. ]

Samardzija is awful. Must be "tipping" his pitches already in inning one of the season.

smart people said Cano was MVP I am smart people I like the kid, but perhaps the doubters are expecting a long DL stint as a result of his "rejuvenation". Groin/hammy issues in August perhaps? One thing Robbie is usually good for, is 150 games But no one is in the class of Adrian Gonzalez: Games Played in his career 156 161 162 160 160 159 150 157 159 156

And I like the guy, as I said. But after a pretty meh 2015, I wonder if his reported rejuvenation involved some of that Dominican platelet therapy. If so, a sudden increase of muscle mass can be a ticking time bomb on a 33yo. I hope not. By all I've heard, he's a good guy.

Trying to think of a player that would not sign on for a 28/90/.275 season.....

"Robinson Cano is washed up." Hey Cotton! What can you tell us about Elias? He'll be as good as anyone in your rotation not named David Price. There will be days when you love him and there will be days when you hate him.
