The Pack had a so-so year but Nelson will be back and better than ever this season. I expect the offense to be back to normal especially if we sign Forte. Lacy needs to lose 30 lbs and refocus his efforts.
We need a quality tight end.. Free Agency?

Gotta say, unlike most of these other clowns, I don't claim to watch a lot of non-Patriots games. However, I did watch that Thanksgiving night game and wasn't too impressed. He needs Jordy back and a skinnier running back. |

Yeah, that Thanksgiving night game was awful. Retiring Favre's number, Bart Starr was there and they couldn't beat the lowly Bears - worst game of the season.
Yep, we need nelson back, lacy needs to lay off the family bucket at KFC and we need a tight end that can run faster than 5.25 in the 40

I was hoping to grab that guy from the colts, not Fleener, the other one but they resigned him yesterday. Green Bay will probably draft one but then there's at least a 2 year wait for him to develop, we need a TE that can make a major impact NOW! |

I disagree.
With a healthy WR core.....GB can draft a rookie who can take some time to develop. He will never be the #1 option, so why do you need to pay a guy to come in and be that? He will be the 3/4 read on most passing plays.

I remember when Finley was the TE. He was a hybrid type. Too fast and agile for a linebacker and to big for a corner back. he created match up problems for defenses, kind of like how Graham was when he was with New Orleans. I'm not an expert, you've probably forgotten more about football than I'll ever know but I think that type of player can be a #1 option on certain downs. That's the kind of TE I'm hoping we can sign.. It would give Rodgers a weapon that most teams would not have.. It sucks that Finley hurt his neck. the same injury that our safety Collins had. Both had to retire, if both those guys were still on the team following the SB win in 2010 we would have won at least 1 more SB.

I understand your want for a premium TE.....but I don't like the money these TE's are singing for. I just feel the league is adapting to this new athletic TE.......and the value in trying to find one in the draft is greater than singing one for big money. |

Plus TT has a thing about 30+ players. Nelson may not even be there 2 years from now. So, IMO we need to either move up in the draft order to get a shot at better players or go to FA. |

What about your Jets? Is Fitzpatrick the QB of choice? Is he good enough to get the jets to the super bowl? Is Forte the random element? Is he the missing puzzle piece?

Jets12 - I like Jerell Adams. He looks like a good prospect. From NFL.com - Strengths Plays with good foot quickness inside his routes. Able to go up top and snare high throws with his long arms. Has the play speed and vertical feel to attack the seam and split Cover 2 safeties. Competes hard after the catch as a runner using jukes and spin moves to elude tacklers. Averaged 6.9 yards after catch. Looks spindly on the hoof, but buys into his role as a blocker. Can lock on and sustain a block longer than expected and was used in pass pro. Good teammate and well-liked in the locker room. |
