Lots of teams passed on Aaron Rodgers but Packers GM Ted Thompson was smart enough to draft him. This is just another good reason why the Packers have been so successful.

So when does GB decide to draft the "next Aaron Rodgers" to put him in training behind the "Next Brett Favre" (aka current Aaron Rodgers)? They already did, Brett Hundley

I don't mean to sound like he's not able to play in the NFL, he may be. I have no idea. Nobody does until he puts on a uniform and shows what he can do.

I like Hundley but I hope Callahan has a chance to play in some pre season games. I'd like to see what he has...

I call it the draft after the draft. The Packers signed 20 extra guys after the draft. a couple look like they could make the team, the rest are just bodies for practice I think.

He did well in preseason last year but I don't think he was active in any regular season games. I think the Packers wanted to take a closer look at Callahan because of the numbers he put ip. Granted he's from a tiny college but his numbers were too big to ignore.

Callahan I'm not up on too much, but he can't be anything too special & players don't go undrafted & make a large impact, especially at quarterback.

Keep an eye on Packer draft pick Trevor Davis (WR). He's fast and I think he will contribute right away. I can see Rodgers in the huddle now calling the play and then looking at Davis and saying, "you run straight ahead 75 yards and I'll get you the ball."

Davis is very fast (4.4 40 yd dash time) but weighs only 175 lbs. The kid will need to put some weight on.

Packers.com lists him at 188, that's still small but I bet he'll add a few lbs. maybe 195. any more and he'll slow down??

WOW! What a story! It's both a great story in how he beat the bears and tragic with his cocaine use at halftime...
I never new this player, he's way before my time but what a tragedy. Going from pro bowl player to drugs and alcohol. At least he had the courage to teach others about it and I'm sure benefited many other people.

Looking forward to the 3rd wide receiver position competition in Packers camp.
Adams? Janis? Abredaris?
