Took almost all spring, but the first major injury is to A.J. Pollock.
Fractured right elbow...out indefinitely
Bummer if any of you picked him in Round One.

Thank you my friend. Seems like a lot of people aren't truly fans in this league.. I am solely basing this on who they picked when/where during the draft the other night I am saying this to try to be helpful
If this is the case, then, YOU MUST WIN THIS LEAGUE. It is the only way to pull any fun out of situations like this. It ends up being a challenge, as, even if you are out in front by a mile after the first month, you have to make yourself pay attention, and to keep making roster moves so your team is as good as it can be.
For your sake, I hope it ends up being a good and competitive league. Which you still win, of course.
Good luck Redseat. Big D kept knocking me on my ass in Friday's draft. Before Friday's draft, I coveted at least a #4 pick in my league that you had to autodraft in (thanks for coming aboard!). And, failing that, do NOT be #5 following him. Which is exactly what happened. He proceeded to take my first choice (Kershaw...I'm in 8 leagues and including today's have wanted Kershaw and have not secured him in any draft. I did get a #2 pick in one draft (my best except for an AL only league in which I took Trout...of course) - but it is scored so batting power heavy that I took Bryce Harper). Then he literally beat me to my next pick four more times in first 12 rounds! With the pick just ahead of me in each case (to be fair, in the snake order I get to go ahead of him every other round). You are real good at setting your draft queue, I especially like your OF and SP.

Pitching heavy, which is not a problem, but just a description. An interesting draft, as Cano should not have lasted until the 8th round, and Fielder should NEVER have been there in the 20th round.

As long as they are not too bad, and/or, there are not to many of them, it makes things better for you. The goal as always is winning. But, winning too easy is just not as fun.

Shane Green worth a pick up? yes Looks promising. But no closers from the Tigers. Detroit is the place that closers go to die. Maybe they would be smart to stop going the "Geriatric" route and get a younger one. They got Joe Nathan a year too late and now I am afraid that they have done it again with Franky Rodriguez.

ERA by month.
April = 4.60 May = 5.83 June = 11.05 July 12.27
Just noticing.

Without a doubt - but his injury issues like numbness and coldness in his hand as early as late April finally was linked in August to an artery in his shoulder that required surgery. So, I think that had a lot to do with his sudden ineptitude in retrospect. He looked like a decent prospect with the Yankees. People got way too excited over his first three starts last year and now are giving up on him too soon, i.m.o.

Some good news here.
Tigers manager Brad Ausmus indicated that Shane Greene will not necessarily exit the rotation once Daniel Norris returns to health.
"If [Greene] pitches well, he'll stay [in the rotation]," Ausmus said. Norris is currently rehabbing from a lumbar fracture in his spine. The 27-year-old Greene is scheduled to make his first start of the season when the Tigers tango with the Pirates on Monday.

Up one minute, at the bottom the next......
Hopefully you had a solid draft, as things will take care of themselves. Eventually.

Now deGrom might go on DL.. Ugg! It is up in the air now. However, they may not need to D/L him at all per se, as they have 6 starters for their rotation, which in the short term will mean more starts for Matz.
Stay tuned though.

Hey guys, what websites do you usually use for lineups? Lately, I have been using dailylineups.com, but I wanted to ask you what your favorites are? I am looking into doing some comparing.
