1) Jameis Winston QB Fla St 2) Marcus Mariota QB Oregon 3) Dante Fowler DE/OLB Florida 4) Leonard Williams DE/DT USC 5) Amari Cooper WE Alabama 6) Vic Beasley DE/OLB Clemson 7) Danny Shelton NT/DT Washington 8) Brandon Scherff, OT/G, Iowa 9) Shane Ray, DE/OLB, Missouri 10) Kevin White, WR, West Virginia Winston I'd put in stone ... I can see the Titans trading down here but I don't see anyone wanting to pay the price to move up... Jax is where the draft will take it's first sideways move as Fowler gets taken before Williams ... Raiders would have taken Cooper or White if Williams is gone although I'm not sure if the go for the higher floor Cooper or the higher ceiling in White ...DC might go with Trae Waynes but I think it's too early to draft him at 5 ... Jets might have been in play for Waynes as well but with the signings of Revis Cro' and Skrine a severe weakness was made into a strength in FA .. Bears are going to a 3-4 w/Fangio the new DC and Shelton will plug in at NT ... Atlanta is a tough read as they have no draft history yet so I went the safe route and took Scherff but multiple players would be in play at this spot ...

I have a bad feeling about Winston... and I'm not completely convinced about Mariota either. Just seems to me this is going to be another one of those drafts where someone is going to hitch their wagons to a QB that's going to get them fired.

Well they aren't " Franchise" QB's in my opinion but they could be the next Ryan Tannehill or Teddy Bridgewater and that would be an ok pick. More teams have red chip QB';s than the 4-5 who have blue chips

And it isn't like TB and TENN have other needs that couldn't be addressed. Teams outthink themselves. Just take the best player.

winston- ceiling= cutler floor= russell
mariota- ceiling= dalton floor= dalton
it's a question of you think you can build your team around boom/bust, or mediocrity.

If you have no QB and there is one that has a ceiling that is red chip you have to take the chance. You cannot win without a QB in this league and if you aren't trying to win then you should look for a new job. Yes you may swing and miss but you can say that about every player in the draft. If you have a stud at the most important position then chances are you will have a competitive team

Thanks Your Pal,Zig Funny you posted that as I looked at it after I started to think that McKinney or Perryman might be more logical picks for the Pack which would make Johnson available at 32 I just dont like the Pats ability (or lack there of) to draft/develop WRs so I dont want them "Wasting" a 1st round pick there. I dont believe in taking RBs or WRs that high really. They are only slightly better at drafting/developing DBs and that's a bigger need imo another tip for you: If they even use #32, chances are great it'll be on a Rutgers or UF player

If Cooper is still on the board, and he might be, the Giants take him. The Giants will go for defense with that first pick otherwise. DT if the right one is there and do not be surprised to see them take Collins. They need a safety help bad. At 9 you can get a quality prospect in this draft, but hard to see them taking the third best player at a position.

More teams have red chip QB';s than the 4-5 who have blue chips Teddy had a solid rookie year but nothing special IMO. He's going to have to improve a lot before I'm sold on him. But to be fair Ive always considered Ryan Tannehill to be overrated until last season as well. He still is to an extent but he finally put in a season worthy of the hype. Tannehill only started 12 games in college He is going to be a very good QB

I don't personally believe in that philosophy of moving up as it is too expensive

I'm not so sure the Bucs will be picking Winston #1 after Publix Supermarkets conducted an internal investigation and found no evidence that any of their employees had hooked him up with free crab legs.

He misses - it's JaMarcus Russell. The Raiders are still recovering from that fiasco.

He misses - it's JaMarcus Russell. The Raiders are still recovering from that fiasco. I don't think he'll be that bad. He has a great work ethic from what they say. Besides the immaturity issue I'd be more worried that that program gave the NFL Christian Ponder & EJ Manuel. But then again Tedford gave the NFL Akili Smith Joey Harrington Trent Dilfer Kyle Boller and the one anomaly to those duds in Aaron Rodgers. The biggest problem is if they pass and he becomes a stud they are canned if they draft him and he becomes a dud they are fired. They are in a tough spot cause they have a fairly good roster and are going to win enough games that they will probably not be at the top of the draft again in 2016 (yes they will still be a top ten pick unless they get some production from the QB position) The Titans on the other hand have a very weak roster and will be picking in the top 5 again probably top 3 they could pass on a QB and tank their season and have a crack at Cardale Jones, Hackenburg, or Connor Cook at the top of the 2016 draft. The Bucs are pretty well stuck taking one of Winston or Mariota #1
