Raiders gave Derek Carr a legitimate weapon.
Good.

Well - there goes Melvin Gordon...
So much for the Cowboys drafting a RB in the first round

And, with the 23rd pick ERRR the 28th pick of the 2015 NFL Draft, the Detroit Lions select...
Another unmitigated disaster.
Probably a grossly overrated OL or a DL with a drug or alcohol problem.
Should have traded UP about 14 picks and got Todd Gurley you fucks.
Trade down?
You must NEVER trade down because you are the perpetually inept Detroit Lions.
They say that the NFL is the ultimate league for parity. I say only to a degree. The Patriots have been picking last for what, 15 years now and they still rule the roost.
It is still all about talent recognition. If you recognize talent, you succeed. If not, well then, you are the DETROIT LIONS no matter what draft slot you have.

I'm loving the Packers pick, a solid DB that can transition to CB which is exactly what they needed. did a helluva job at Arizona St, switching from S to CB shouldn't be hard at all. and with how Ted Thompson picks, you can always trust him

I'm pretty pleased with the Pats selecting DT Malcom Brown at #32. He'll fill the void left by the departure of Wilfork. I'm sure BB likes him for his versatility as he has played both DT and DE in 3-4 and 4-3 defenses. Also, he's not just a run stopper but also has shown the ability to disrupt the pocket on passing downs.

Byron Jones. I am pleased. Fascinating athleticism. I think he might have the athleticism to match up with OBJ. One of the things about him as opposed to a couple of the other guys that went in the First round - the physical aspect of the game doesn't bother him. He'll stick his nose in there. Couple of those other guys have some Mike Jenkins in them.

That's the look of secondaries who are good - CB's and safeties that will stick their noses in there and make plays. He's a keeper.

Traded down so that they could get an outfielder back that used to pee behind the Green Monster, when he was not snapping the football over Peyton Manning's head for a safety in Super Bowl XLVIII. Charlie Brown would have been a better GM than the clowns that have been in the Lions' front office since 1963.

Maybe Mayhew thought it was fifteen years ago and he was getting La Dainian Tomlinson, not Laken Tomlinson.

He's a keeper. definitely. he was all over the field when ESPN was showing his videos. and according to some reports, he's a switch between corner and safety, so either or works out well

I would surmise that with Reiff, Woford that C they got last season Tomlinson at the other G with Ramirez whom they picked up in the trade down as depth guy They look like they are going to be a better than okay O-line I would bet on a between the tackles RB being picked today

My fear is that Warford, Swanson, Reiff and company were all there last year (well not much Swanson because they had mushbrains Raiola playing C almost all year), the running game was still brutal. Tells me that either that line is not good at run blocking or the backs they have suck.I'd have liked to see them trade to move up several spots from 23 and nabbed Gurley somehow. Not so much Melvin Gordon but Gurley.
