It was a really good trade for Philly. I never get when someone says "can't stay on the field." in regards to an ACL tear. That can happen to any player, any time. It's not like he keeps pulling a hammy or something. That injury bares no indication that he will be an injury prone player. I also don't think McCoy was anything special in Kelly's system. His numbers were good, not great last year.....and the year before he was either great or horrible game to game. Now, what he does in the draft......you could have a right to tell the man to go fuck himself. speaking of injury though, he missed the entire 2010 season in college due to a knee injury. 2 knee injuries isn't a good sign and once you injure your ACL, it's more likely to re-injure it especially at a position like his plus, you always have to be careful when a defensive player comes back from a ACL injury. how will it effect his mobility, etc

The McCoy thing could turn out to be a great trade for the eagles. Really, you have to see who they spend the saved money on in FA , consider the same as a trade really, his cap hit for other players, and then judge it. Me, he is not worth his cap hit to the eagles. what rb would be?

according to reports, the Eagles are interested in Tramon Williams. wouldn't be a bad signing at all, but I wish the packers could keep him. most likely won't though, speaking of the Packers, with them re-signing Tolzien that means Flynn isn't returning. heard rumors of him going to SF and also heard rumors of both Kap being on the trading block and him not, but several teams inquiring about him. will be interesting to see what happens with that

Not so fast! It seems Gore might agree with this thread title Im hoping he does. I was never a big fan of Frank Gore even during his prime. I definitely don't want the Eagles handing a three year contract to a 32 year old running back wih his kind of mileage. I keep seeing comments around the internet, especially on NFL.com where fans claim and insinuate that he still has some left in the tank. I'd love to know what they're basing that off. The dude ranks #24 all time in rushing attempts. And when runningback a hit that wall it comes without warning. One day they're great, the next day they suck. Too risky of a signing IMO. I'd rather an undrafted rookie Yeah I agree with you, I'd be hoping he changed his mind too.

Now, what he does in the draft......you could have a right to tell the man to go fuck himself. Stewart Bradley comes to mind. He was a promising young monster of an inside linebacker for the Eagles during his 2nd NFL season back in 2008. SI named him to their All Pro team. During the 2009 preseason he tore his ACL at the age of 26, went on IR and missed the entire year. He was never the same after that. Played one mediocre season in 2010 before short bench warming stints with Arizona and Denver. I believe he's out of the league now. I don't believe the medical world has come that far since 2009 but I sure hope I'm wrong. I thought Bradley and Gucong were going to be thorns in our side for a long, long time. Damn they were good in 2008.

I have never liked Bowe, and it pissed me off so bad when they gave him big bucks a few years ago, ugh, he did nothing to get that contract. Show up when the game was lost and he wasn`t covered, and get shut down by any good CB, and if doubled....I don`t like Bowe, never have. I hope KC can get some WR`s, and Maclin is a start.

First he releases DeSean Jackson for NOTHING. Now he trades away LeSean McCoy for some former Oregon Duck linebacker who didn't even play a snap of football last year. And god only knows how many 1st round draft picks he's going to give up to get Mariotta in the draft. Fuck Chip Kelly. And fuck his Oregon Duck nepotism. That is all. Eagles in 20??

I just don't understand that trade at all, doesn't seem like a good move imo other trade I don't understand is Jimmy Graham going to Seattle for Sam Unger and draft picks im assuming the Saints couldn't afford to keep him. Last year they claimed New Orleans was cash strapped and they went out and threw a fat contract at Jairus Byrd. Although I don't understand how Seattle will be able to afford him either. It's gonna be real interesting next year when they have to pony up the dough for Russell Wilson. they were way over the cap still after some cuts so the trade make some sense in regards to that. $14m over the cap before the trade, is there any news on what this trade brings their cap to now?
