True story. years ago, I was coaching a baseball team one summer comprised of boys around the age of 13. I looked around and knew I was missing one and the game was about to start. I looked out at the right field fence and there he was, hanging from it upside down, he had tried to retrieve a ball that had gone under it and on the way back over it his belt had caught on one of the top parts of the metal fence. Only thing he caught all day. |

Loved watching my grandsons do "stuff" their first years of Tee Ball. Oldest one - hit the ball, ran down the first base line... touched the base... then kept running down the first base line about halfway to the fence with his arms raised in victory. Youngest one - hit the ball, ran down the third base line...
Both chased butterflies while balls rolled by them in the outfield... picked their noses while balls rolled by them in the outfield... ran the ball from the outfield as the bases emptied...
And yes - hot baseball moms. Incredibly hot baseball moms.
Ahh - memories.

So... I'm thinking about having an encounter with the Cowboys Hoop fans... Manster; PDay; Schmoopy; et:al. I post randomly on another site that those boys went to under a different handle. I got a chuckle this morning over one of them blaming the FN'ers for the Hoop going to shit. Funny thing - Manster gets the same "Go to Hell" message from Hoopville that the rest of this group who were banned gets. Thought I would invite them here for fun and hi jinx. I figure Backroads, D2 and UBP would enjoy some banter with them.
Any takers?

What ever happened to Marlins Fan? The "Welcome" thread on this site, wasn't exactly "welcoming". But beyond that he probably lost interest when there wasn't a TD board to be on. He was never the most talkative guy, outside of the comments section in his own TD's. He thought we were all a bunch of elitists anyway. Plus, he's probably never got over being angry with those of us in the FF league when we rejected that trade proposal with "Mrs. Marlins" aka "Amanda". Served them right. She totally was tanking her season and giving her best players to him. Never let the Mrs play in your FF league. Who does that? |
