"In last week's column, we pointed out how ridiculous it was that one of the league's largest markets could trade its former starting goaltender in a conditional trade without anyone knowing what the conditions were. Thanks to Sportsnet's Chris Johnston, now we know. And it turns out the Leafs basically traded Jonathan Bernier for nothing at all."

A little background information please. Why are the Maple Leafs so despised on this forum? Whenever I think of the Maple Leafs, the first thoughts that come to my head are how funny it is that such a large market team could suck so bad year after year & how much I pity their fans for being so passionate for such an awful team year after year.

Man, the NBA are a bunch of quitters. If NHL started cutting games short just because one team was ahead by 30, half of the Maple Leafs games played in the last decade wouldn't have made it out of the second period.
