There is a definite need for this thread. If for no other reason than to give haters a place to tell me how much Romo sucks.
Go 'head..

A lot of it comes from that botched FG which has 0 to do with his abilities as a QB. JJ and Garrett are the real problems with the Cowboys.

Romo is a Jekyll and Hyde player who folds in the big games. What separates them from Rodgers and Brady is more than a talent gap. Its called BALLS. Namath had little talent. But his balls could have won a world war.

He drives me insane with his soul crushing interceptions... but I also know this team went beyond suck until he took over the QB job in 2006. And he's had more than a few years where he was about all we had because the offensive line was so God-awful. The shame is now we have an offensive line. And a God-awful defense. As far as Ryan.... I still like him. But from a distance, I got the impression the Falcons injury situation was a major contributor to his problems. Is the being misrepresented?

You didn't let me down any more than the Vikings let me down this year. That is - no let down at all.

Here's why. Romo can at least carry your team on his back at times. Ryan can't. He has rpto have a lot of help. Yeah, Romo sucks at times, but if he can get on a roll at the en d of the season he can at least get you into SB. Ryan needs for our team to be hitting on all 8 cylinders or we get beat.

Like it too until Russell Wilson Romo had the best 'escapability' of any QB ,yeah Vick was a better runner but he didn't keep his eyes downfield like Tony did, and put them in position to win , or throw those horrible INT's but fact of the m,atter it was his play on the field (keeping them in games they had no right being in) that made the INT's soul crushing cause without him, the soul crushing would have been the Cowboys roster

This....Romo can be the end-all saviour and then, at the WORST possible moment drop the ball. Frustrating for sure, but the Boys wouldn't be near where they are now without him

And CI's Iggles season was essentially over on Saturday It's a lonely life for the typical Iggles fan... Beer; more beer; more beer... bitterness... bitter beer face... watching the Cowboys compete for a sixth Lombardi trophy...

Beer; more beer; more beer... bitterness... bitter beer face... watching the Cowboys compete for a sixth Lombardi trophy... and after all the smart ass retorts for Tony Romo choking they then come to realize he has the exact same amount of SB's victories as the Iggles organization for the last 40 yrs. Oh wait didnt they win something back in the old NFC days like in 67 or something?

You would appreciate this Otis.....the local talk radio had this guy Rob Ellis on for all things 'Illy; I always thought him fair to callers even those ignorant ones such as myself for all things baseball and basketball. He went to t.v. and they replaced him with some hick from Louisiana or something who was the only one to apply for the job. Anyhew, an older gent calls in one day ranting about ownership and how in the last 40+ years everyone in the NFC East has won a championship and including a 60 mile radius. This pineapple host starts picking on the Cowboys for some odd reason, and then talks about the Eagles have had a more consistent QB.....and Im like Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? I picked the Iggles QB's alone in my head vs. just Romo in Dallas...so of course I call in, start the debate with a few quick facts and get promptly hung up on because I refute his shit about Lawry being better than Jones as owner. Im like how many Lombardi's do the Iggles owners haave? They slammed the phone down.

Good luck in the playoffs. I'll be rooting for Romo to go 0-2 lifetime in this regard. I hear he's going to be the holder as well.

Sad... on this weekend of the first Cowboys/Packers playoff game since the fabled Ice Bowl, word comes of the passing of the GREAT Jethro Pugh. One of the longest tenured Cowboys and one of the most humble guys ever.
R.I.P. #75...

One of the longest tenured Cowboys and one of the most humble guys ever. R.I.P. #75... Met Rayfield Wright one day....was working at Chester Clinic and Hospital in South Dallas on a Saturday. Reading the paper in the Xray room when it suddenly got a little darker. Looked up and Rayfield was standing in the doorway....and I mean the WHOLE doorway. Seems a relative had been brought into the ER and he thought he was in xray...we talked for a short bit, but he was very nice as well....
