Sharks dig themselves a hole, then come back to tie. 2-2.

At least my Alma mater, Penn State is doing well in Big 10 hockey. The Pens sure aren't doing anything good.

A good read as usual from Mike Heika... Heika: How former Boston problem child Tyler Seguin became the next big thing for Dallas StarsMy favorite quote from this article... At the time of the trade, Bruins assistant general manager Scott Bradley said "there’s too many red flags" with Seguin.
"He hasn’t proven that he's tough enough or plays our style of game," Bradley said on a Bruins-oriented TV show. "I don't know if a leopard ever changes his spots, but he's going to have to."
Hope you choke on those comments, Mr. Bradley. Hope you do very much.

A very good two way player and class act who plays the right way. No one had a bad thing to say about him across the board. And Reilly Smith looks like he will be a solid guy too. But - for crying out loud! Seguin is an offensive beast. And - it isn't like he is Ovie at the defensive end. He works his ass off and doesn't embarrass himself out there. And if he is out partying with Jamie Benn, who gives a good shit? He's friggin' 23! I just remember Booins fans riding his ass out of town (the HM will tell you of one in particular who sounded like he read every bit of the front office blather and recited it verbatim daily). There are plenty of things wrong with the Stars right now (kiddie corps on the blue line and seriously shaky goaltending). Seguin sure as hell ain't the problem. And ... got a kick out of seeing Kessel traded for Seguin AGAIN! Bet Laffs fans wish it would happen in real life.

With the Islanders playing lights out hockey led by Johnny T., Rag's on the rise, Caps in contention.....Detroit having an EC voter registration card; things good get good for the 2nd half.
