That wasn't a bad trade for the Pens. They got Col. Klink and a conditional draft pick for Phil Samuelson (Ulf's little boy) who was playing in the AHL. He wasn't going to make the Pens anytime soon so they dumped him. Perron has played well for Pittsburgh so far, already scored and has been moving the puck well. So I'm pretty happy with that. I thought one was old and slow and the other was overpaid based on one huge year. I think Trotz is a good coach. |

He's come back down to earth. Scuderi is doing much better than last year too, especially since they teamed him with Despres who Bylsma kept sending down to Wilkes-Barre last year. I think Bylsma was a lousy coach the last couple years. |

Got to watch my Alma Mater, Penn State, play Ohio State in hockey last night. Penn State looked good, dominated play for a period and a half but let down midway through the second and gave up 2 goals. They ended up losing 4 - 3 in OT. I thought Penn State had the better team, but Ohio State had the better goalie.

There was no reason for Washington to throw silly money at them like that. |
