So what's up with this Chicago Blackhawks locker room fight? Sharp and who? Over what? Multiple sources have told me there was no recent fist-fight among the #Blackhawks. — Mark Lazerus (@marklazerus) February 26, 2015

Aside from the obvious age references, like the 43-year-old Jaromir Jagr having played his first pro game before 10 Florida players — or the Panthers franchise itself — was even born,

from Puck Daddy
The Committed Indian, the Blackhawks fan-zine, wrote the following in its “exit interview” of Patrick Sharp (and obviously this is grounded in rumor):
In my position, pretty regularly I get emails from people claiming to be in the know (and some genuinely are) letting me know about what they’ve heard about this guy or what’s going on with this injury and so on. I appreciate it of course, as I don’t really have any “insiders.” Most of it I dismiss out of hand. But when they start to pile up about the same things or incidents, you start to take notice. When you tap on some people who may be in the know and they say the same things, you take notice more. So I present the following not as truth but just as what I’ve heard repeatedly from a wide variety of people.
There are off-ice issues with Sharp. There may have been a physical altercation with a teammate (and a very important one). Let’s just say the image of Sharp as a wholesome family man with his two daughters is not an accurate picture. There may be other problems.
So he went to the Todd Bertuzzi School of Charm I see

How the Leafs got rid of David Clarkson Turns out the Blue Jackets hadn't insured Horton's contract which still had 26.1 M over 5 years to run. So they decided better to have a player payed to play then a player on LTIR they still had to pay The Leafs by far the richest team in the league didn't bat an eye at paying 26M to get the cap space this trade would afford them

Anybody watch the Laffs beat the Flyers? I'd love to see them climb up to 17th in league standings.
And how about those Wings? They looked like shit the 1st period but pummeled the Sharks in the 2nd and 3rd. And that's without Big Z. I might have to have a chat with your boy this summer Otis.

The Flyers are a really, really bad hockey team. I don't know how they managed to get themselves back into playoff contention, but man they are not good. Having said that, Simmonds is very quietly having a breakout year. If the Leafs win even half of their remaining games (and they won't), that'll give them 73 points. Last season, 73 points would've left a team 4th last. It's not happening. They'll finish somewhere between 4th and 6th last.

Hard to believe that Rickety till tonight's game actually held the record for most wins in a season for the Isles at 32 (shared with Osgood & Billy Smith) I didn't know that he ever played that many games in a season. Heard they call the trainer's room in Ubniondale the Rick DiPietro Room

Stars blow another 2nd period lead and lose in OT. That is all. Changed my mind... here's more; - The Stars are 3-10 in games that have gone past regulation, 29th in the NHL.
- They are 12-12-8 at home, 26th in the NHL.
- They have allowed 77 third-period goals, 28th in the NHL.
- And they have a .894 save percentage, 29th in the NHL.
More... 13 home games where they have scored 4+ goals - they are 8-5 including 4 OT losses.

Anaheim Ducks have acquired Tomas Fleischmann from the Florida Panthers on Saturday in exchange for forward Dany Heatley and a third-round draft pick in this year’s draft. Jagr and Heatley if they were centered by a guy named Doug they could call the line Doug and the Slugs
