Hes becoming a superstar...... Took a while for him to develop, but he has arrived Thats one of the better contracts in the game Took a while to develop? No no no. They are awesome by their 1st or 2nd season or they suck! Period. isn't that right? They are awesome until they arent awesome right? All the dick sucking of JBJ and Boegarts changed to "They are only 21 and 24, it takes time to develop" Oh now it takes time to develop....Got it

Yankees are still in it, kind of... What's Ellsburys excuse for hitting like a Pedroia this season? Hes been better than Pedroia And it took the play of the year last night to rob him of a 3 run triple, and an amazing Betts catch the other night to rob him of a leadoff triple in the 8th of a 4-3 game...... Far from Great, Far from Pedroia....The numbers are closer now because Pedroia is on fire since the Sox gave up on the season, its what he does Ellsbury is in the midst of a 5 for 42 slump. Wouldn't that be quitting on the team when they need him most?

Sox quit on the season. Now, has Ellsbury quit on the team when they need him most?

And all that aside, Michael Brantley in a full season, was still never even close to as pathetic as Boegarts and JBJ have been this season So ALLLLL you have to go on with those 2 are "It takes time to develop"....Because you would be lying if you said you have seen anything, even a small glimpse, to think they are future stars.......

One guy in a "Slump", still has a bottom line of numbers that anyone would still call a "pretty Good year", numbers spread across a season, not compiled at a time his team was eliminated IS the SAME AS An entire team taking a collective DUMP for an entire season, causing a fire sale? Thats the same thing?

I think its adorable that youre implying the Red Sox didnt quit this season Sometimes you gotta fold a losing hand and get ready for the next reshuffle. Lets be honest, the Yankees ain't doing shit this October... Would have been wiser to start prepping for 2015 too...

Ellsbury absolutely mis-placed in the lineup.....BUt I cant fault Girardi, Brett Gardner may be the best leadoff hitter in the game It presents a dilemma next season, because I know starting a lineup with a Lefty Lefty is not ideal

That shit bag Brandon Mccarthy does it again. You mean Cashman does it again! What he give up, Vidal Nuno? Yeah, win win. I thought he would get creamed last night. Totally keeping the hitters off balance and comes in with a sneaky fast ball on 2-2, 3-2 counts. And nice to see Jeter's selfishness gets Chase Headley to play 1B now. Drew playing 2nd and Prado playing 3rd. Prado should be playing second.

Jeter H Care to enlighten us all as to the last time the NY Yankees were 15 games out of first place? A "Slump" is not an entire season for an entire team I think youre playing stupid So if the Yankees had the red sox record, ellsbury's current slump would have transformed into Ellsbury quit on the team? If Ellsbury was garbage all season (see Pedroia) and was as big a reason as any player on the team for them being garbage (see Pedroia) and once the team officially tossed in the towel by trading away all the essential pieces, Ellsbury decided to go on a tear (see Pedroia), that would absolutely not be celebrated in NYC I called this, I said it a thousand times....."Once the Sox are virtually eliminated, Pedroia will go on a tear and all his fans will look back at the end of 2014, and say, Look he didnt have a bad season" And the Yankees dont have the Red Sox record (even though the Sox roster is better on paper) because they dont quit.......Think thats pretty apparent

So being 1 game back of a playoff spot you should mail in the season?
The fuck kind of shit is that. That's the mentality of a quitter.
