the 4 walks hurt, but he did look good got me a fantasy win Walks don't count that's why he excluded them how about the hits and runs allowed in the fact that he won the game? Does any of that matter too? What is the only thing that counts the number of walks early in the game when he was battling nerves?

Of course, I just wanted to dispell the notion of him being "Dominant" He was "Good" As are most pitchers the first time when teams havent seen him

"every Boston super uber prospect that is a can't miss and lights up AA and AAA needs 3 to 5 years at MLB levels to bat .260" - is that what I am reading here?

I remember the same Everyone is great on the Sox, a little fun exercise is to say 'So and So sucks' and be met with anger They are all great, they are 15 games out of first place and playing out the string since June because they are all great

Rule 1 If Boston Player isn't very good statistically, HUMP his "Porn Like Fielding" if stats are really bad, add "goes from first to third on a comebacker to the pitcher" if those two still don't get it done, add "has a great attitude and isn't flaky"

No, if JBJ was a Yankee, Im sure you would think he has shown all the signs of being a future star Twenty fucking 4 "he's only 22 so we don't expect him to be good at all" - nobody "this kid at 22 has shown that he is ML ready and can fill in for Elsbury if the sox don't resign him following the 2013 season" "has displayed plate discipline and power way beyond his 22 years" "is raking since fixing the flaw and going back to his natural swing (when he was two weeks younger than he is now" All we hear about is the "Stacked young system" then when they don't perform, "they are young". Are they all busts, no.... but are they studs? NOPE

No, if JBJ was a Yankee, Im sure you would think he has shown all the signs of being a future star Twenty fucking 4 And all that was said, is that any package for an elite starter like Hamels, led by JBJ, would be the height is idiocy

Perhaps the sox realized paying pitchers with that many innings already under their belt a long contract has proven silly.
For all the talk about your farm system, why don't they find some young guys that can pitch? Many other teams do it, who don't have the #1 ranked farm system of all time.
The Indians are paying Corey Kluber half a mill this year to be lights out.

Lets reset for he new arrivals...
Dustin Pedroia is officially having a better year than Jacoby Ellsbury....

Can we reset the reset?
Neither Dustin Pedrioia nor Jacoby Ellsbury are having a better season than Dr. Smooth himself, Michael Brantley. The Indians were able to sign him to a four year extension worth only $25 million...

All Kidding aside We have a player here who is as responsible for burying the Red Sox season in 2014, as anyone He starts to hit when the season is absolutely finished, Done, Adios And you celebrate that? He deserves to be crucified for that, not celebrated

Hes been better than Pedroia And it took the play of the year last night to rob him of a 3 run triple, and an amazing Betts catch the other night to rob him of a leadoff triple in the 8th of a 4-3 game...... Far from Great, Far from Pedroia....The numbers are closer now because Pedroia is on fire since the Sox gave up on the season, its what he does
