Do you watch baseball Rocko Wrongo? Him and Gardner carry this team is he hitting 3rd? curious...i had seen that. hes only 19 pts below his boston OPS as a whole, but dirt, the guy is paid way too much for the little production youre getting out of him. Way overpaid but please, boston fans....let's not pretend you aren't an embarrassment of riches. If we are factoring in pay, can we talk about the utter THIEF your team sends out to Second Base each day. For $14,000,000.00 per we can get slightly better performance than Brian Roberts!

"Sox did well avoiding the Ellsbury fiasco." Best line I've ever read. They've tumbled from World Series champs to LAST place, with CF output that sucks... and sucks is being nice. Can't wait until I read: "Sox did well to avoid the Lester fiasco." ellsbury has little to nothing to do with the sox fall to last hes probably the last thing on a long list my friend JBJ's defense is insane, and hes hitting much better of late since he went back to his old stance in college CF is at the bottom of the problems list "last on the list" Wow!! Just Wow!! Please copy and paste this post for anytime you feel like you have any credibility in discussing sports.

Losing Ellsbury hurt... Red Sox weren't going to pay him the money he wanted, they made that clear. Heck it was talked about long before he signed with NY that at some point he would leave Boston. it would be very nice to have a consistant hitter at the top of the line-up but even with him I don't think the Red Sox would be very good this year. Better than they are now perhaps but not by much

It really doesn't matter in this case if Ellsbury is paid a ton. Is his contract preventing the Yankees from signing some other big time player next off-season? I'd wager no.. If a team like the brewers signed Ellsbury to that kind of contact. He would absolutely be a liability, since it would prevent them from signing anyone else. Yankees have clearly shown they don't give 2 shits about the Luxury tax if it means getting the players they want.. Ells is having a good year. He's been a positive for the Yankees. Unlike Beltran. He's also been better than JBjr thus far. Exactly on all fronts.....Ellsbury being mis-placed as the #3 hitter because of Beltrans' Injuries and Ineffectiveness, also isnt really maximizing him, but to act like he has sucked this season, thats just not accurate

You're really couldn't be more wrong I can't wait to hear the same about Lester this time next year Jackie Bradley is batting Like.210 .229 see? last 28 days? .316 "insane defense" "the bell weather of defense" "elite defense" I love how when a Sox player sucks, it's like their defense is ten times that of any other fielder. .220 hitting CF with great speed and defense are a dime a dozen - you know why guys like Elsbury get what they get? Cause they can bring a "Boomstick" with them too. PS - Brian Roberts is hitting .345 since the break Roberts >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Pedroia

The Red Sox clearly do miss him but I don't think even with him they would be much better than they are now.

Ellsbury's late and close, tie game and RISP have been really good this year. He's been carrying the offense really. And he's been their best hitter since the break. So we have finally reached the point that he's not a top 10 reason why the Red Sox suck.
Probably has to do with him leading the Yankees right now. Am I right guy?
Yes I am.

Dude who gives a shit Ellsbury has been an incredible defender this season and he is 10000x the player that guy is Please, let's move onto something else. We are singing the praises of JBJ right now Ellsbury makes easy catches look hard.... That doesn't make him a great defender... holy shit! just wow... just wow. I pray the Yankees sign lester just to watch that bus hit him "never a true ACE" "Clubhouse cancer" "poor work ethic" "over paid" "prime years behind him" "couldn't lead a staff" "was always second fiddle to Bucholz, Beckett, or lackey" "Way over paid" "Dime a dozen pitcher" "Terrible defender" "his WHIP divided by ERA multiplied by innings with odd numbers is league average at best" "lefties in Yankee Stadium get killed" "was a product of a huge Fenway Park"

JBJ is absolutely awful and losing Ellsbury is a huge blow to that team If he wasn't in the Bronx, you would allow yourself to be honest about that Barely a blip on the radar.... That's just the truth... You're stuck with him for six more years at that atrocious salary... pot, meet kettle you are stuck with That stump at 2b for another 10 years at that insane salary

Help....The question becomes who wins the staredown? You would have to think both want the other to sign first Scherzer signs for 6/150, Lester negotiates for as much or more claiming "Im a lefty with a longer and better track record" Lester gets 6/140, Scherzer points to being younger and asks for more

he is worth well north of 15 million a year Yeah, if he is on the Stephen Drew pay scale. uh huh 200 innings every year, proven post season perfomer, a lefty, amongst the best winning percentages in the game since he's been a full time starter, no arm issues to be concerned about but not worth more than $15 million a year because Rock got mad at Richard Sherman two seasons ago
