I never thought JT Barrett was all that good, and doesn't it seem like he's been at OSU for 8 years now Yeah, even the National Championship game was won by Cardale Jones, not Barrett. He's been there that long. |

We just called him Boomer. Sadly he suffered through hurricane Sandy here and he moved to Houston a month ago...poor guy! |

Pasrons tweeted this during the game, on the sideline in which he was officially visiting OSU. It's generally bad form to question the NC winning head coach you're visiting. Parsons apologized on Twitter. Kirk Herbstreit chastised recruits on twitter for calling out head coaches and "knowing their place." Then 5* Jackson Carman, an Ohio State lean (#9 overall 247 Sports Composite), tweeted his agreement with Parsons, saying that Clemson and USC would be happy to have him. Parsons then doubled-down on his original statement (in a very Trumpian Sorry-not-sorry way). Guys on the Ohio State team started voicing support for JT or Haskins. Locker room voices angst. Urban is forbidden from commenting on recruits. Fan base says good riddance to two 5* targets. Nebraska says "WOO! we want Parsons!" PSU and OSU say, "Good luck with that." Whew. That was fun. Not a lot to offer with these early games. My heart is in the SMU/TCU game this afternoon and TU/USC tonight. Starting DE Justin Lawler for SMU is a local kid and a terrific one. His mom and my wife are coworkers so I've met him a couple of times. Easy kid to root for.
