From just a little research, so I could be wrong, I believe Foles is under contract for next year and could be traded this offseason.

Doug p has passed every test given to him. Losing players, losing games, the expectations from the city once Wentz busted out.
Two weeks from yesterday is his final exam vs bill.
If the game was this Sunday, I'd take the eagles.
But with the pussy NFL giving 13 days off, pats win with a healthy gronk.

here's my thought process.
off the bat, they need this week and last week foles. if they get week 17 vs the cowboys, the game is a waste. that's the one unknown here.
otherwise, i look at the last two victims to the pats (falcons and seahawks) and have the following thoughts.
- doug isnt a dumbfuck who would pass it with lynch on the 1
- doug isnt like mike smith who will sit back when up 28-3
while doug isnt on bill's level, he certainly not the bowl of cold piss these last two coaches were. he improves as the game goes on and that's the biggest chance the eagles have.
