The Eagles now have an extra fourth-round pick in this year's NFL draft. As part of the trade for the No. 2 overall pick to land Carson Wentz last season, the Eagles received a fifth-round pick from the Cleveland Browns that would become a fourth-round compensatory pick if the Browns received one. Considering the Browns lost six free agents last season and only signed one, they were expected to receive compensatory picks. Those picks were announced Friday, and the Browns received two in the fourth round: Nos. 139 and 142. The Eagles will receive the 139th pick, according to a league source. The Eagles now have the Vikings’ first-round pick, their original pick in rounds 2-5, and an extra fourth-rounder from the Browns. And they'll need them, that is as sad a skill positions group as there is outside of San Fran. Hard to say what's a worse group the receivers or the cornerbacks

Rumor has it alshon is leaning towards the eagles.
Him AND Smith, I'm OK with.
Just one of them would be bad.

he gets in trouble, just look for him....as long as he stays on the field....
2 years ago missed 9 games with FOUR different soft tissue injuries, none of them happened in games(and one happened in a walk through) last year he missed 4 games...for PEDs which he took in order to not get soft tissue injuries.

We've got giant holes at CB, in a CB loaded draft. Plenty of other roster holes as well. Yup. Load up on corners. I wonder how it feels to be Jordan Matthews. started the day as their #1 wr. The team got better, he's now a #3 wr. I think he will be very good as a slot guy imo.

Yeah I like it. Even though they'll be back to square one in a year They've got an entire year to have dibs on a long term contract. And I don't see why they can't franchise tag him to keep him longer. And if he doesn't mesh with the team, they can cut their losses without any cap hit. I SAID I LIKE IT!

and if you look at the teams that were interested in him...Indy, Vikings, Philly. None fit what he wanted. So maybe he just signed a 1 yr deal. hoping that next year he can get to a Fla. team or Atlanta, Panthers etc....

Best thing I love about the Jeffery signing. Eagles are out of the Brandon Cooks trade talks. New Orleans was demanding way too much. Cooks is dropping on the depth chart, he's having issues with teammates, he's up for a big money contract next year. And the Saints are demanding a 1st round pick. Then they dropped it down to "considering" a 2nd round pick plus a pass rusher. Go fuck yourselves. That's a raw deal. I'm fine with Jeffery bc they got Smith also. Odds are one pans out, right? I was OK with cooks, but definitely not disappointed they have a first round pick now.

Former Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Nick Foles is returning to the Philadelphia Eagles on a two-year deal, the team announced Monday. Foles will serve as the backup to second-year starter Carson Wentz. Wait for Wentz to have a couple of crummy games and watch Philly fans scream to dump him and replace him with Foles.

Question for the resident Eagle's fans, how good is Bennie Logan. From what I have gathered, he is a big run stuffer, not too hip on pasa rushing..does that sound about right?

Thanks..looks like he will be the Chiefs replacement for Poe, at a cheaper rate.. nice get. Yeah a little overshadowed by Fletcher Cox (unjustly imo), but was always really consistent. Might be a guy who benefits from less rotation. Eagles rotated the shit outta their DL
