doesn't he only want to start though? That's why he left Seattle without a contract, they wanted to give him backup money to be a backup QB I'm sure he wishes he didn't opt out of his contract with the Niners Kyle Shanahan made RG3 rookie of the year and had a Browns team with current Niners starter Brian Hoyer at 6-3 with 2 last minute losses before Hoyer was injured and they went 1-6 the rest of the way I'm betting he could have schemed Kaep to another starting opportunity and with that D-line could have made some noise in the NFC West He didn't have a choice with the 9ers really. If he hadn't have opted out, they were going to cut him. Not Kyle Shanahan's decision either. Ownership did not want any vestiges of the Harbaugh era around. Football was not part of that decision.

I will be watching closely when Zeke finally serves his suspension. But even then, I don't think we will truly know until there's a key OL injury or departure. In the meantime it buys Dak time and experience to continue to improve.

No but he has to grow up. He's a professional now, being paid outrageous amounts of money to play a game. If he wants to maximize his earning potential and hopes to be a brand it's time to act like a pro and curtail the partying.

from Pro Football Focus: Dallas center Travis Frederick has not allowed a sack in his last 1,658 pass blocks, since midseason 2014. That’s almost three full seasons of protecting Dallas quarterbacks on pass drops.

I'm sure the Dallas' fans on thoop that argued the accuser was a liar are losing their minds now since the judge just said that doesn't matter at all.

Bullet points from Kate... who has covered the court proceedings going back to the beginning;
- Hearing is over after 35 minutes. No decision issued yet; no clear timeline given.
- Judge Jacobs asked NFL reps: it was a 14-month investigation, it seems odd you can't wait a couple more months (to enforce suspension)?
- Judge Droney asked NFL reps to concede Elliott would suffer more harm now 8 games in & w/ playoffs nearing than at start of season.
- NFL lawyer: even if judges side with Elliott on irreparable harm, they must take into account Elliott doesn't satisfy likelihood of success
- Judges asked NFLPA what difference it would have made to have Elliott's accuser testify at arbitration hearing.
- Judges: what was sinister about Goodell meeting with 1 investigator & not the other? (Friel instead of Roberts).
- NFLPA contends the four independent advisors never knew investigator Kia Roberts' doubts about credibility if accuser.
- Judges asked if NFL investigators found credibility issues with accuser, how can they suspend Elliott on "credible evidence" standard?
- NFL responded that the credibility issues were about two of the five alleged incidents & Elliott was not punished for those.
- It obviously went very quickly. Small crowd gathering at courthouse steps waiting for Elliott to leave.
And in less time that the hearing took - injunction denied. Suspension in effect. Next 6 games... @ Falcons 4-4 Eagles 8-1 Chargers 3-5 Redskins 4-4 @ Giants 1-7 @ Raiders 4-5

It blows this is how it is but...thats how it is. On the plus Jerrah is pissed with Goodell so his time may finally be almost up!
