Super bowl has jumped the shark Word
When you cant find a SB party in NYC, may as well dis-continue the thing
You and the rest of the mouth breathers in the surrounding Burroughs have become huge Falcons fans. Everyone wants to see the Pats lose.

Super bowl has jumped the shark After such a shitty playoffs/regular season, that game had better be close/good. I'm only watching the game though, been that way for a while now...I used to watch a good chunk of the pregame coverage on gameday after I picked up the rest of the items from the grocery store/everyone's weed order... Yeah....I don't watch the pregame shit, even when the bears were in it. Its worthless......."here is more on the controversy that we created, blew out of proportion, and have been getting everyones opinion on, for the last week" "And now for more on so-and so's grandmamma who just got her liver replaced with a pig liver.......and now on to the pig and who he is picking in the game"

Maybe Steelers v Cardinals. Ended up being a good game. But i didnt care about it one bit

What's not to like about this - the leagues highest scoring offense against the leagues lowest points allowed defense. I understand why THIS board doesn't like it (i.e. because it doesn't fit any of the narratives they convinced themselves of during the course of the season). I don't understand why it allegedly is not garnering interest from the masses. (Or whether that's even the case).

If the Falcons win, however, it will coincidentally turn out that EVERYONE watched EVERY second of the game and scrutinized every single play including watching different camera angles not available to the public at large.

Sure maybe a Dallas Pats game would have had more interest because of the Cowboy fanbase, but Falcons certainly look like the juggernaut out of the NFC. So even if you don't think the Pats have played anyone, the desire to see the Pats lose to the Falcons (which I'm sure is shared by many) should keep the rating high.

I'll have a bundle of money on the former

Heard a stat on the way home that the falcons only played 4 defenses in the top 15 and were 2-2. The pats played 8 and were 7-1? That right?

well all I've been hearing is how the Pats havent played anyone and the Falcons beat evryone in the tougher conference you done this to me! Well all we heard back in week 13 and 14 is how Matt Ryan is an undeserving MVP candidate and that the Falcons aren't really that good.
Now you guys have done a complete 180 and are trying to build up their image. Your transparency is unmistakable.

After week 13 the Falcons were 8-5 (shocking!) with losses to juggernauts Tampa Bay, Philly, KC, Seattle, and San Diego (wow!). NOW, they've managed to blow out 2 playoff competitors and have won 5 in a row since then. Amazing that opinions would change. Just like it's amazing that some posters would, shortly after their team got blown out by said Falcons, declare that they were "bored" of football.

lol Barstool Sports is a growing destination for sports fans, particularly young and male sports fans, and on Monday it officially became mainstream when it launched a new show on Comedy Central. But the NFL does not find Barstool Sports amusing. The league pulled Super Bowl week credentials from Barstool Sports employees, forcing them to cancel scheduled appearances on Radio Row, including a planned spot on PFT Live today. The reason? Four Barstool Sports employees once organized a sit-in at the league offices to protest Roger Goodell’s handling of Deflategate, and when they refused to leave, they were arrested. The league said it doesn’t credential people who have been involved in such antics. Despite the league pulling the outlet’s credentials, Barstool Sports’ well-known provocateur PFT Commenter managed to get in to Super Bowl Opening Night, where he asked a question of Patriots coach Bill Belichick. So the league wasn’t able to completely shut down the site’s access to all Super Bowl activities. But the league is keeping Barstool Sports from promoting itself on Radio Row today. That’s an extremely unusual step for the NFL to take, and one that points to a growing chasm between the old-school NFL and the new-school media. profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/01/31/nfl-pulls-credentials-from-barstool-sports/
