lol Barstool Sports is a growing destination for sports fans, particularly young and male sports fans, and on Monday it officially became mainstream when it launched a new show on Comedy Central. But the NFL does not find Barstool Sports amusing. The league pulled Super Bowl week credentials from Barstool Sports employees, forcing them to cancel scheduled appearances on Radio Row, including a planned spot on PFT Live today. The reason? Four Barstool Sports employees once organized a sit-in at the league offices to protest Roger Goodell’s handling of Deflategate, and when they refused to leave, they were arrested. The league said it doesn’t credential people who have been involved in such antics. Despite the league pulling the outlet’s credentials, Barstool Sports’ well-known provocateur PFT Commenter managed to get in to Super Bowl Opening Night, where he asked a question of Patriots coach Bill Belichick. So the league wasn’t able to completely shut down the site’s access to all Super Bowl activities. But the league is keeping Barstool Sports from promoting itself on Radio Row today. That’s an extremely unusual step for the NFL to take, and one that points to a growing chasm between the old-school NFL and the new-school media. profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/01/31/nfl-pulls-credentials-from-barstool-sports/Gotta admit - I follow them on Twitter and they are a little over the top for me but they have their demographic down to a "T". The NFofL should pay attention.

HOUSTON – Even after losing in the playoffs, the Dallas Cowboys, Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers continue to have their fingerprints on this Super Bowl. For the NFL’s ticket-resale business, the absences of those franchises have clipped the wings of what could have been a soaring market
With each passing day since the New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons secured their spots in Super Bowl LI, the secondary ticket market has consistently seen the demand get softer
The biggest hit was sustained when the Cowboys lost in the divisional round of the playoffs, essentially gutting what could have been a robust local market for Super Bowl tickets. It got worse in the conference title games, when two more teams with solid traveling fan bases – the Packers and Steelers – both lost.
The fallout? As of Sunday afternoon, the cost to get into NRG Stadium for the game was a shade above $2,100 on national broker Vivid Seats. Other major brokers like StubHub and PrimeSport were just above $2,200
Losing the Packers and Cowboys fan bases for Super Bowl LI could be costly for some ticket brokers. (AP)

Smuck How will you be enjoying the big game Sunday Following our tradition of going over to my sister's place and watching it in her husband's basement man cave with a bunch of friends. Will be first one without my daughter, but she's training it to Jersey to watch with my brother's family.

Glad to have her making the trip to Jersey. We like to watch these games in large family groups. It's kinda cultish, but I'm ok with it.

I'm about to do the same with FanSided. They throw way too much shit at the wall to be taken seriously. Bunch of Skip Bayless wannabes that contaminate my feed.

In the past four years, he (Julian Edelman) has recorded 75 of his 84 career postseason receptions. His total of 84 puts him seventh on the all-time list, but he’s primed to potentially leapfrog the cluster of five players ahead of him -- Andre Reed (85), Michael Irvin (87), Hines Ward (88), Wes Welker (88) and Reggie Wayne (93) -- if he delivers his standard production in Super Bowl LI. No one is touching all-time leader Jerry Rice (151) for some time.

Do remember after one of the playoff games he interrupted the post game on field interview to give a shout out to his 'rents. But he's done that before so I didn't think it was a big deal.

The teams saying of "one more" makes people think. Hes dedicating it to his sick mom. Rumors are there...

If the falcons win, I wouldn't be so sure he retires.....but I still don't think they trade Jimmy.

The most successful supermodel ever as a wife.. 5 rings GOAT He has his health...no real concussions Maybe hes taken stock...and maybe the team knows something we dont. That place is a vault.

It's what makes sense to me. I wouldn't be surprised if it's "I win, I'm gone, I lose.......give me one more year" type of thing. And then they franchise Jimmy and have Brissett still under contract.
