whats the score going to be after the first quarter? I am going opposite you and snoogs, I think NE elects to kick and Atlanta would elect to receive so I think Atlanta gets the extra 1q possession. I'll go 7-3......with NE in good position to make it 14-3 going into the second.

I'd take the over on Bryant FGs as a prop bet.....Atlanta will be able to move the ball but NE wont give up many big plays and will stop them when the field shrink.

Not going to read the article but assuming it's saying what the title implies......I don't see how they stop NE. It's only going to take 1 turnover or 1-2 early punts to turn this into a rout. GB/Atlanta all over again, except this time Atlanta is GB.

I sure do hope Bryant does hit the over in his field goals. If Atlanta's coach goes into this game thinking "we're going to beat this team with field goals" I'm going to be having a champagne enima by 9PM on Sunday.

Yeah, I don't think it's the way to win the game but I think it's what NE is going to force atlanta to do.

Folks winter in Vegas. Placing bets for me. Thoughts on this one?
Which QB will have the most passing yards?
I go Ryan. For Atlanta to win he has to have a big game, and if they are behind he is their best bet for getting back in it.

Patriots reserve DT Vincent Valentine was limited in practice for the second day in a row with a back injury. He is officially listed as questionable for the Super Bowl. If Valentine isn't healthy enough to play, it might require a roster move to add a third layer to the depth chart behind Alan Branch and Malcom Brown. Practice squad DTs Woodrow Hamilton and Darius Kilgo would be the options.

The Falcons break through.
Might be different with Gronkowski active. Matt Ryan is able to get Atlanta off to a good start again. He has five solid weapons to work with - Julio, Sanu, Gabriel and the two RBs (Freeman and Coleman).
Everyone always says every Super Bowl is going to be close.
I'll go Atlanta 34 New England 23.
Yes, the under.

this could be big. Report: Alex Mack has fractured fibulaFalcons center Alex Mack was a limited participant in practice all week after injuring his left fibula in the NFC Championship Game and will be in the lineup for Super Bowl LI, but he might not be playing if it weren’t such a big game. Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Mack has a fracture in the fibula that might normally keep him out of the lineup for more than a month in the regular season. He’s expected to get a pain-killing injection before the game. Per Schefter, the Falcons are confident that Mack will be OK in pass protection. They are reportedly concerned about his ability to get downfield for blocks and make it through the whole game, however. Ben Garland would step in if Mack isn’t able to go the distance. Mack won’t be the first player to take part in a Super Bowl with a leg fracture. Rams defensive end Jack Youngblood did it in Super Bowl XIV and Eagles wide receiver Terrell Owens played through one in Super Bowl XXXIX. Both their teams lost, so the Falcons will hope the break in Mack’s leg coincides with a break in that history. profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2017/02/05/report-alex-mack-has-fractured-fibula/

The thing about this is...even though I am picking Atlanta, it is utterly remarkable how consistently the Patriots get a sum of their parts that is so much greater in relative terms than any of their opponents.
For example, if I graded like this:
ATLANTA QB-9, RB1-8, RB2-7, WR1-9, WR2-7, WR3-6, TE-5, OL 7, K-8 it equals 67.
NEW ENGLAND QB-9, RB1-7, RB2-5, WR1-7, WR2-5, WR3-4, TE-7, OL-7, K-9 it equals 60.
Defense would be pretty close.
What is the difference?
Coaching acumen and post season experience equals a plus 4 to a plus 9 in Patriots' favor, making the overall score a range of between ATL 67-64 and NE 69, ATL 67.
So, anyway, I add another factor and I'll stick with ATL on the fast track inside the dome to win the game 34-23 as I stated earlier.
