Yeah, it definitely wasn't anything. Stop listening to Jim Nantz tell you your anger angles. We all watched the replays about 47 times. It definitely wasn't anything but "completely inconclusive." the right call was made. the better team won. There was a clear fumble snoogs. There was no clear recovery. That's really not debatable. To clear up confusion on the Tom Brady fumble: There was in fact a fumble. But referee Terry McAulay ruled that there was no clear Steelers recovery, reverting the ball to the Patriots. And the replay did not show any conclusive evidence of a Steelers recovery, even though it was clear that Brady fumbled. So, the ruling on the field stood. I don't need a tweet. I saw the play. there was no clear fumble.

It was def. a fumble, the second set of replays showed that.......the first did not. Where the whole thing got fucked up, and Nantz didn't clarify this until late in the 4th quarter, they were talking over the ref when he was announcing the challenge. So Nantz then says: "There is a challenge on the play of a fumble and the ref has said there is a clear Pitt recovery if there is actually a fumble." They come back from commercial and announce: "There is no clear recovery, the play stands as called." Which left Nantz, Simms and most of the viewers quite confused as to how there was a clear recovery and now there is not a clear recovery. Late in the 4th quarter Nantz says: "And to clarify the fumble play, the ref did not say there was a clear recovery, he said we are going to review if there was a clear recovery." Kinda a piece of shit move by CBS not clarifying all of that for us asap. I am assuming Nantz and Simms had no idea what the ref said, one of the spotters told Nantz the wrong info. The prob is you heard what Nance said the official said but you didnt hear what the official actually said. The official said the Steelers were claiming they made a recovery, official did not say the Steelers had made a clear recovery. Nance heard wrong or mis understood. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. They were running a replay or something over the official, they didn't let us hear what the official said. That's why I'm saying it was a piece of shit move by CBS not clarifying all of that for us........until late in the 4th quarter when many people were probably not watching anymore. It was them that erred on the sequence.
