I don't even know what it is about but count me in well, we all start by nominating individual group of films (say your top 30, or something--- will determine exact [HASH] when I know how many people want to play--- don't make a list yet!  ) Then I count up the leading vote getters. They make the field of 64. Seeding based on [HASH] of votes/points. From there, like March Madness bracket, you vote each matchup in each round 1/16, 2/15, 3/14 etc. See who stands tall and wins the "final four" |

I love movies. Some people drink booze, other do drugs. Ive always been able to go to the show and if Im having some problems I feel better walking out afterwards. I'm disabled and the wife and I treat ourselves with movies and Chiefs games. But yeah. Movies are my thing. I had alot. BluRay, DVD, VHS. Sold a ton of them after the wife lost her job. We had a rough spell last year but everything is cool now. But I would love to play this bracket game. Plus I would really enjoy doing reviews again. I also love reading other reviews and discussing them.

Have you seen "A Million Ways to die in the West yet? Rude, crude, racy, No one is safe. Ive seen better. But some times you just have to go see a movie like this. And of course stay for the two bonus scenes

I was wondering if having the brackets be different movie "genres" would work...so basically the "Final 4" would be the best of each genre...if that would even work,,,or just a mish mash type thing? just curious. that could be one way to do it (as could sub-brackets by movie era), but I was figuring more like say 3 people nominate Godfather in their initial top (30, 20, whatever) it gets a 1 seed say 2 people nominate Pulp Fiction, Casablanca, and Caddyshack in their initial lists those would be the other 1 seeds all the others only get 1 nomination, I'd seed them with a random generator, my personal opinion, imdb ranking, rotten tomatoes score, or something else. If we had 50 people, the seedings would work themselves out automatically on nominations; sadly we don't have that many. I'm leaning: each participant nominate up to 30, with the caveat --- divide your nominations such that 1/3 come from each of certain eras. (up to 1950, from 1951-1980, and from 1981-today) |

I'd like to recommend a slight addition I think subsections would work well with this. Not to many just a few. I like the dates. But If we could split them up into foreign, fiction, nonfiction, that would be enough. but if not then thats cool too.
