You ever start crying, not because a song is sad or meaningful, but because you just become emotionally overwhelmed by sheer brilliance? Me either.

My Dad had Alzheimer's...can't listen to Glen's song yet. My siblings and I still test ourselves constants...remembering where we parked the car, what we ate last weekend, who we talked to in church, etc. Same reason I can't go see American Sniper. Read the book and it is fantastic...same with Lone Survivor...but some things are still a little too raw....

Too bad. Maybe stop and pee in Lake Shasta. They could use the water. Damn....I could drink a case of beer in one night and still wouldn't dent that lake....looks like it is about 30 feet down from normal...but I did try. Did you know that there are backroads around I-5 where you can lose the CHP? Of course I think the rental will need new shocks..... I chuckled.

I'll likely not listen to that Glen Campbell song again for a long long time. If it did what it did to me, I don't think it would be a good idea for someone that watch a loved one go listen to it. Motherfucker brought me to my knees wailing, he did. No I was just listening to fucking Bonamassa jam and out came the damn waterworks. No singing just him and his drummer. And I ain't even drunk. Yet.

And it is funny....some are fine ("Platoon") and some send me in a funk (Apocalypse Now)...dont know why since Platoon include a unit in my Division...

Actually I'm just flying in there..then driving up to Yreka Too bad. Maybe stop and pee in Lake Shasta. They could use the water. Shasta's actually 77% full smart guy. It will just be rough in the summer with virtually no snowpack.

And yes, if you're returning to Sac via I-5, be sure to watch your speed very carefully when you come down the hill after the Bridge Bay exit. They watch that area like, well like CHP looking for easy pickins.

The Fabulous Forum in Inglewood. It's not that Fabulous It probably was though. With Chamberlain, Baylor, West then Kareem, Magic, Worthy, et al. Would have loved to have been there for a few of these games.

I was in his business, which was destroyed because it was based on contract business, which was yanked when he lay dying of cancer at 52. God speed for you and your family. Good luck.
