Updating an earlier BF1 post, with some better news.
X-rays taken Tuesday on Tyler White's right ring finger came back negative.
White took a pitch off his hand Tuesday in the Astros' series-opening victory over the Yankees, but he escaped with a bruise. Consider the first baseman day-to-day.

looking at that Betances play.....they could have ruled that he didn't obstruct the throw because the throw was so bad. Its like if you don't throw the ball, its not obstruction.

The guys on Reddit make it sound like the Yankees got fucked on that call. I trust the unbiased judgement from you guys, what say you? Fuck no Betances air mailed a throw to first on a swinging bunt. Announcers said they would have called him out if the throw hit him in the back, by rule (which is dumb btw).. But he threw it 20 feet past him |
