That front 7 is gonna be bad ass Yeah, thier LBs got faster and signing McLendon will help losing Harrison.....and Pryor improved so much last year, I love their saftey play. They will struggle at corner, but that's it on defense. I like amaro to look alright this year and I like Clady to step right in for ferguson. I just don't trust Fitzpatrick to win them games they should lose. Agree, Fitz decides the season. Skill positions should be as good as any, trenches are strong, D should be a top unit

The Jets are too pass happy to be good. If they could get a good ground game to setup the run they could use Fitzpatrick muh more efficiently and effectively.

Personnel has nothing to do with scheme though. Ivory and Powell ran well in that offense last year I get it but their philosophy is too pass happy relying on a shitty decision maker to make decisions. If they change their scheme similar to the way the Broncos ran their offense they could be good. They just pass the ball way too damn much.

You could be right but the Broncos had a guy who may not be able to throw the ball as well but still males 100x better decisions than Fitz. Maybe I should have said the Panthers. They need to run the ball like the panthers. The Panthers receiver situation last year is similar to the Jets QB situation. Shitty.

no no we just imagine that we are imagining it right now too 10 wins is bad? not at all. Schedule is quite a bit harder this year though. Last year the AFCE got the AFCS and NFCE(aka the 2 worst divisions) This year we get the NFCW and AFCN...2 of the best,,,

So apparently the Jets started Bryce Petty and he did OK(makes sense that a backup who has been in the offense for a year now could do well against other backups) And Hackenberg played the rest of the game and was a shitshow.....
This either means that: A): Geno is on the team and they are trying to decide between Hackenberg and Petty on the 3rd QB...meaning they would have to place the other on waivers to get to a practice squad, which he will never do because there are lots of teams that would take either and have them be their #3.
B): they already decided to release Geno....
C): they are keeping 4QBs on the roster....I don't think that has ever happened.

And for the record.
This time last year I said the Jets would have 9-10 wins and fitzpatrick was not good enough to taket hem over the top. I was argued with, trolled at, made fun of for such a "homer" prediction.
I was 100% right.

I think he played better than the "despite". The Jets roster both last year and this year........aside from QB.......is better than the Patriots. I said this at the start of last season. There are 15 QBs in this league if the Jets had I would bet the house they make the playoffs and be pretty confident they'd have a shot at the division. There is no better viable option for a 1 year season than fitzpatrick, and if they feel Hackenberg is going to start week 1, 2017, I don't have a problem with Fitzpatrick starting this year. But I am not going to sit here and praise the guy. He got bailed out time and time again last year, he has crazy good WRs....i mean you NE fans sucked deckers dick day in and day out when peyton was his QB. The biggest misconception about Fitzpatrick is he is a "smart" QB. Sure he is smart......but he makes some DUMB plays. Pennington was a smart QB, Pennington was 100% better QB than Fitzpatrick. If Pennington in his prime was QB of this Jets team, they'd win the division. He was vastly underrated. If Fitzpatrick can learn to settle down in moments of pressure and not assume Marshall and Decker will bail you out of throws.......they could win 9-10 games again. But at not point last season did he show that mindset. I think the Jets win 8 games this year. I hope I am wrong, they ahve the talent to win more and the coaching staff is as good as the Jets have had in years........and you know how I loved Rex........but I was 100% wrong, getting rid of Rex and hiring Bowles was the right move. This guy coaches a good team, and Gailey is a hell of an OC. It takes alot for me to say I love the OC......and I love this OC. I just hope Fitzpatrick realizes it's a 60 minute game and let the game play out.

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- Personnel people around the NFL probably are looking at the New York Jets quarterback depth chart and thinking, "Four? Really?"
Yes, really.
The Jets will be the first team since the 2013 Washington Redskins and 2013 Minnesota Vikings to carry four on the opening-day roster. Coach Todd Bowles, speaking to reporters Monday for the first time since the final roster cutdown, said that it was an easy decision to keep all four quarterbacks -- Ryan Fitzpatrick, plus backups Geno Smith, Bryce Petty and rookie Christian Hackenberg.
so you basically have 3 guys on your roster that will be completely useless until Fitzpatrick gets hurt.......they needed to decidewho had more potential between Geno and Petty.....and cut the other one. Its a matter of them not wanting to look bad cutting a high draft pick after 2 or 3 years.

4QBs on the roster?!?!?!?
what the fuck is that?
cant admit they made a mistake and wasted a high draft pick on Geno or Petty...?
GM doesn't want to look bad, so you are going to have 3 guys on the active roster that wont contribute at all.
Petty was not a high pick and Geno was not a pick of this GM. Both those QBs would be signed quickly if released. I really don't mind it. It's one wasted roster spot. You all will realize one day how bad Fitzpatrick is.........and how ever single NFL GM agrees with me.

We all know how bad Fitzpatrick is.......
its just that we also realize how much worse Geno is than that.....
you should be happy......Jets are a playoff team with Fitz.......they will drag you there kicking and screaming...
