the west, in general, is superior...but i dont think the rangers are gonna lay down I don't necessarily think they are going to lay down either. I just think they're going to get completely outclassed. And if the "vastly over matched, outclassed, flukey Ranger" manage to win the series or take it to 6 or 7 ... what will we hear from you?
"refs wanted to keep the series alive for TV" "Kings didn't prepare" "the fact that the Rangers had to beat a team that beat the Bruins made then tougher than they were" "The ice was slippery in NY" "NHL offices in NYC, you do the math!!" "lucky bounce" "pathetically maintained ice in LA" "the 3,000 flight has a bigger impact on West Coast teams going East than on East Coast teams going West"

I'd love to hear a solid reason why... Because the Kings are a vastly superior team... Please tell me you don't dispute this.. cmon man... The rangers are a nice flukey Cup team, and you have every right to be happy... But the Kings are in a total different class, man... Where are they superior? They have deeper forwards, but the Rangers have a top shutdown defense and goalie. Have you seen the goalies LA faced so far? The Rangers already beat Pitt, who was considered a better offensive team than LA. The Rangers also faced 3 top 7 PP units, and sent them all home. Am I guaranteeing victory? Hell no.. but this will be no walk in the park for LA

LOL, who said the Bruins wore the Habs out? Rock...after game 1
completely ignoring the fact that the Rangers had to go to a game 7 after being down 3-1 in the series and you would think that team would have been more mentally and physically exhausted for game 1 than the Canadians
but, it's Rock

LOL, who said the Bruins wore the Habs out? rock hinted that Montreal might be prone to a mental letdown after winning such a training series vs Boston. To suggest that this is an untrue statement is you being nothing but a troll... so of course that is what I expect you to do next. Uh-huh. And we can just go over the little things the Rangers had to endure. Rangers>>>>>>>>Bruins Bruins playing golf with the Pacers.

The Kings have to be tired coming into this series too. Or do they have this extra will to win, and can't be worn out by their opponents? Only The Bruins can wear down teams?

dont forget the rangers beat the habs bc the bruins "wore them out" somebody remind pigeons that when your team gets a trip to the cup finals by playing against a third string goalie and you manage to avoid the number 1 seed and a team that completely destroyed you in last year's playoffs yeah it's kind of flukey... it's perfectly fine to it knowledge it. they didnt avoid the #1 seed, the #1 seed lost to the habs. they played a third string goalie. "playing a third string goalie". lol but hey, the bruins killed the rangers last year, so that makes this year's playoffs "flukey". you are the worst homer on here. hands down.

"We don't care about the Rangers winning....but lets spend all day telling you why they wont win". You guys are so full of shit. I can smell it from here. just so we're clear. We were all completely full of shit last series when we said we were pulling for the Rangers to win? Am i right? Now in the Cup finals I'm predicting the Rangers to lose. But yet I'm still full of shit? Am i right? So basically all day everyday no matter what stance a Boston fan takes on anything ever there always going to be full of shit am i right? You're lying. You're full of shit. Just enjoy the New York Rangers hosting the cup soon. We'll invite you and Rock for the parade. I'll buy the drinks. You can celebrate, a "flukey" team. Come on down. We can all get "flukey" together.

Pulling for them to win last series is now "worst team ever to be in a finals" "flukey" "third string goalie" "totally overmatched in every aspect of the game" "lucky to be there" "may not even score a goal" "why destroy the ozone layer by even flying to the west coast"
yes... you are full of shit.

How can you avoid a number one seed when the [HASH]1 seed choked a series away? here I will lay it out for you in a manner that you might be able to understand because it is anti Boston. In 1996 well after the 1996 season in the playoffs the New England Patriots were the number two seed in the AFC. John Elway is Denver Broncos were the number one seed and thought by everybody to be the class of the NFL. In round to the upstart Jacksonville Jaguars led by a young Mark Brunell pulled a huge upset in Denver and sent the Broncos home early. The Patriots after destroying the Steelers in the fog bowl for granted home field advantage against Jacksonville Jaguars team in the AFC Championship Game. The Patriots dominated Jacksonville and earned a trip to the Superbowl. I have no problem nearly 20 years later that the Patriots probably would not have made that Super Bowl had they not managed to avoid the number one seed Denver Broncos.

if anything, history tells us that the team with more rest tends to come out VERY flat in game 1's in most sports.
I have low expectations for game 1 tonight.

someone commented on how the kings will be tired, bc i thought the rangers played 21 games too. then i was corrected. kings played 21, rangers 20. "man, they will be so tired bc of one more gp".

I love how there is so much but hurt going on right now because people who thought the Rangers would win last series think they are going to lose this one. For the record I would have picked the Kings as the favorite even if they were going against one of the two real teams in the East the Bruins or the Penguins. The fact that they are playing a team that is barely top 5 in the east? That just makes this a slam dunk.
