At some point, Dan Uggla is going to be released this season and ATL will have to eat a ton of money left on his deal. Even if they can shop him to the AL where he can DH, they'd still get nothing in return, except the Phillies, they would probably give up too much for him. Phillies are a piss poor run organization.

Lester should carve through the Braves tonight. They K once every 4 ABs Vs. lefties on the season. And Harang is pitching tonight.
I'll let you know how the game goes since you guys dont watch them now anyway. And I'm gonna listen to the away broadcast.

Braves sweep Marlins. Still the best team in the NL East!

Craig how did it feel to tie The Great John Smoltz's team record for saves.
Kimbrel: "Mean's nothing without any titles"

Someone forgot to tell Craig that this team isn't built to win titles I think that was Craig's way of saying, "Make this a team built to win titles or I'll be gone when my contract is up." LOL

Word. Every ugly man lands a 10 once in his life. You can get all rah rah in June all you like. But yeah, I dont know what happened the last 5-6 innings. Absolutely no reason they can't be hitting the Wilhemsens of the the league.

Hey Ox, was what it like for you to see what a real MLB relief corps looked like last night? Word. Every ugly man lands a 10 once in his life. You can get all rah rah in June all you like. But yeah, I dont know what happened the last 5-6 innings. Absolutely no reason they can't be hitting the Wilhemsens of the the league. You have too many all or nothing hitters. You aren't alone. It's an epidemic sweeping both leagues.

Its pretty much 1 thru 8 and then whoever pinch hits. And Simmons takes some violent hacks if you watch him. They get to the psot season and they'll lose for the same reasons.

He keeps reminding me of Will Clark.

I told Zig McCann is good but he aint worth what they're paying him. Few Yankees are worth what they're paying them. LOL

Now, if only one of the Upton's would go yard. Either one, I don't care.

La Stella's average hovering around .380 right now. Now I can use a hit from you this inning kid. I already lost my password. Losing to the Mariners at home is really embarrassing.

LaStella is kicking ass. I sure wish we could dump Uggla and his ungodly contract on somebody else. LOL
We're up on the Nats and Fish by 1 game. This division is up for grabs. God help us. LOL

More bad news, I'm afraid:
WASHINGTON -- Atlanta Braves right-hander Gavin Floyd broke a bone in his throwing elbow during Thursday night's 3-0 victory over the Washington Nationals.
Floyd broke the olecranon -- the bony tip of the ulna that sticks out behind the elbow -- as he made the first pitch of the seventh inning, a curveball that Jayson Werth pulled foul, deep along the left-field line.
"It was fine until that last pitch," Floyd said. "I felt a pop. And it wasn't painful, at least."
[+] Enlarge Evan Habeeb/USA TODAY Sports Gavin Floyd, center, is the latest Braves pitcher lost to injury after he suffered a fracture in his throwing elbow Thursday night against the Nationals. Floyd will return to Atlanta on Friday to be examined by team doctors. The injury is so rare that neither he nor manager Fredi Gonzalez could provide a timetable for Floyd's return.
"In the big picture, I think he's going to be OK," Gonzalez said.
I included Gonzalez' quote to show how stupid I think he is. Dude broke a bone in his elbow and this is what our wise manager has to say about it. He may live but he can't pitch and that sucks. This could end his career. Gonzalez is an idiot.
And BJ batted second again last night. We need to get rid of BJ, Uggla, Gonzalez and the hitting coach, obviously. This team needs to be revamped badly. We are struggling to win the worst division in baseball. Meh.

Should the Braves fire Gonzalez? They won't if they win the division but if they don't I think he's gone. I'd get rid of him right now. I think he sucks.

I think he is doing a hell of a job. considering he didn't sign Uggla or BJ and he didn't injure half of the pitching staff
