Supposedly Thornton, Marleau and Niemi are on the block for the Sharks after their epic playoff debacle. They are looking to get younger and faster and build around Couture, Pavelski and Vlasic.
Already not returning are Boyle (free agent) and Havlat (trade or buyout).
Personally, I hope they get rid of Thornton and Niemi. If the return is good, I'm all for dumping Marleau too.

With a new GM here in Philly I expect to see that pc of shit Hartnell finally cut/traded/dumped/hanged....something before next season starts.
Secondly I expect to see a vast improvement in our D.

Thornton was invisible for 6 of the 7 games. Marleau was good for the first 3 and then fell off a cliff. They said they want to get younger and faster.....Thornton is neither of those..... |
