from what I've heard from the 49ers front office is they're happy with Kaep and he's their QB for years to come. Crabtree, Gore, Willis, Justin Smith are all gone. they're going to need some work done asap to get back to contending for the NFC West. but if the 49ers can land Torrey Smith like rumored, losing Crabtree won't make a difference, not that I think it will anyway in some good news, Bulaga looks like he's headed back to GB. also heard GB is on the market for a TE. Don't forget last season the Niners said they had no plans to get rid of Harbaugh . Plans change and they would be remiss if they didn't do due diligence in seeing what the marketplace is like they didn't though, Harbaugh was on his way out anyway and went to Michigan for a huge contract. but teams have offered for Kaep (Bears) and they were told the 49ers aren't trading him. so it's unlikely he gets traded before this season. in other news, Mike Iupati is expected to sign with Arizona |

from PFT the Jaguars will be adding tight end Julius Thomas and defensive tackle Jared Odrick in addition to RT Jeremy Parnell. Given Jacksonville’s cap space, there should be more moves to come as Jacksonville tries to take a step forward in 2015. Been there |

The fact that they went after a sophomore QB w/ no playing time to be there starter would give me the idea Kelly thinks he's a pretty good fit and now he has the keys to the franchise so yeah it's possible either Mariota or Kaepernick will be the starter for the Eagles. If I was to bet I'd bet Mariota but if the price gets exorbitant I can see Kaep as plan B |
