Kelly is playing a high stakes game with this trying to get Bradford to restructure and add years so he is not a FA next year so he can then flip him to go after Mariotta, but WHY would bradford do that? He would be stupid to do that. He is owed $13 million if he refuses to do that unless the eagles want to release him for nothing. Nothing means nothing.
Bradford can get the same or better deal the eagles might offer him other places.
this whole thing is weird. very friggin weird. Kelly may have outsmarted himself. It happens.
