yeah haven't been on Twitter or anything all day. easy to miss everything that way. but Eagles had a better offer on the table according to a source I saw on Twitter but I'm not surprised he went back to Patriots Never been on Twitter or Facebook don't plan to either how do you get all your news as quick as you do? that's the only reason I use Twitter, all the info that comes thru from writers' accts, team pages, newspapers/magazines/website accts, etc

NFL.com, PFT, SI.com, sometimes just Google players and follow stories. Being injured and not working makes it a helluva lot easier these days but they will soon end, damn it

Looks like Maxwell is signing with the Duc..Eagles from PFTPer multiple reports (beginning with Jayson Braddock of KBME radio in Houston), the Eagles will sign Maxwell to a deal that includes $25 million guaranteed. It’s not yet known whether that’s fully guaranteed money or money guaranteed at the time of signing. Whatever the final numbers are (if/when Maxwell indeed becomes an Eagle), it’ll be interesting to see how he does without Richard Sherman, Kam Chancellor, and Earl Thomas around him. The mere fact that the Falcons and head coach Dan Quinn didn’t jump into the bidding for Maxwell should be regarded as a potential red flag. I don't expect Byron Maxwell to be any better than Cary Williams. The safety 'help' that Williams received from Nate Allen was pathetic. IMO Williams was better than the media portrayed him to be and I can't see how Maxwell will do any better unless the Eagles do happen to land Devin McCourty as well (assuming they can muster some team chemistry out of this). Maxwell was targeted a lot with the Hawks and held up quite nicely is he a #1 corner NO but he is a very good 2 and as you say with some better talent at S

This is a wild rumor don't know the dude. Maybe someone else here knows of him Kaepernick on trade block If this is true it would make me think they want in on Mariota or Winston

Report: Jeremy Maclin joining Kansas City Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin intends to sign with the Chiefs, ESPN’s Chris Mortensen reported Sunday night. And with that, all the good will the Iggles garnered yesterday went down in a pile of feces. Beck lost his mind on Twitter and switched to apple flavored Crown. Crown is bad enough. Apple flavored?

Plus picks and or players although with them being the rumored landing spot for Torrey Smith it really doesn't make sense to me He's one year in on a six-year $126 million contract. They'd have a hell of a time trading him even if he's actually on the block. And as you implied, they need a replacement QB which they currently don't have. The contract is not really that high if he hits all the escalators it would be. If he hits them the team will be very happy (they are team oriented bonuses) It is also basically a no dead money contract It is VERY tradeable, now the fact he digressed last season ....

from PFT the Jaguars will be adding tight end Julius Thomas and defensive tackle Jared Odrick in addition to RT Jeremy Parnell. Given Jacksonville’s cap space, there should be more moves to come as Jacksonville tries to take a step forward in 2015.

The Niners are going to evaluate Kaep and before April 1 2016 (when his season guarantees kick in ) if they deem him to not be the QB they want to go forward with start accepting trade offers

Crabtree, Gore, Willis, Justin Smith are all gone. they're going to need some work done asap to get back to contending for the NFC West. but if the 49ers can land Torrey Smith like rumored, losing Crabtree won't make a difference, not that I think it will anyway in some good news, Bulaga looks like he's headed back to GB. also heard GB is on the market for a TE.

Raiders have a deal in place to make Rodney Hudson highest paid center. I like it. We have to overspend anyway.
Little Wisniewski is a mediocre center who was a Raider only because of his last name. We upgraded that position.

I'm not a big fan of overpaying centers or paying Centers huge amount of money even though I understand their importance

I'm not a big fan of overpaying centers or paying Centers huge amount of money even though I understand their importance He's probably not worth as much as he's getting, but with the cap going up $10M every year, and teams like the Raiders needing to spend just to meet the salary floor, I think salaries are going to go up for all positions, across the board. Hell, just the threat of the Raiders got your guy Cobb an extra $1M/year from the Pack. I'm not sure these next few years if you're going to be able to compare salaries year to year. Yeah, for 2015 it may be a lot of money - by next offseason it will surely be surpassed.

I'm happy they're making the same, they aren't going to compete say "he got more but I out-perform him" etc

I guess he learned the p-l-a-y-b-o-o-k by now.

Indy now considering Gore
